09.01.2022 Oh Yeah ... Day 1 done and dusted! The team are ecstatic after easing into a full day of testing with both pilots creeping up on things slowly. After overcoming some violent shake, Frank Tarabay held his composure in his newly acquired Scion smashing his PB with a 6.13 225mph retiring early to split intercooler piping. The Tarabay crew are onto repairs tonight revving for a full day of testing tomorrow. The GAS Celica also on point, ran a string of low 6s finishing today with a best of 6.05 @ 236mph! THE GAS SCION!!! The Team have thrown every resource at this newest and latest protect & we have managed to pull it off with the tightest of deadlines. From a completely stripped car for paint, a new power-plant & drive train, a complete FuelTech rewire & chassis modification, then to the Dyno ...tonight. What a mission! This beast is ready for battle and if the results on the Dyno are any indication of its direction - we are flying!!! Huge thanks to all who were involved in the project and made this happen. 05.01.2022 Well today was a great day for Team GAS Racing and Frank Tarabay!!! Frank drove his new FX scion like a boss. With some trying runs we made early in the week, we needed to makes some changes and see how it goes. Well, we got there!! A string of .973 60 footers, Frank couldnt hold back anymore. He drove right to the finish line on the next run and went 6.35 at only 205!! Two of our major suppliers FuelTech USA and Precision Turbo & Engine were there to showcase some exciting new products for 2020. After sorting through a small wiring issue the crew produced an impressive 7.1 @ 208 mph getting the old girl reacquainted with the track!!! Thrashing for a final hit - Po and GAS crew threw some more at it but a malfunction with timing boards failed to produce the final ET and MPH Just quietly we reckon it was a PB pass right out the back pocket ! Po and his crew are ready to rock n’ roll in the J275 class at the upcoming Jamboree. It’s going to be big! Check out the elusive final run of the night ...

02.01.2022 Team GAS Racing were out in full force this weekend testing for Jamboree with the boss making 2 x decent 6.1 full passes during testing. It was unfortunate that the event was abolished early Saturday morning with the weather Gods playing havoc on the day! We commend the efforts of Kelly Bettes and Collin Willshire and the entire Jamboree Team for their perseverance till the very end. Brilliant to see Frank Tarabays scion hitting track for some precautionary testing ahead o...f the Tarabay brothers race season launch and equally exciting was seeing a return to the track for the Grudge kings chief Mr Po Tung in the GAS Supra! The entire GAS team will be back out at the very next opportunity. HUGE shout out to our crew namely Paul Mouhayet for your knowledge and expertise- FUELTECH TO THE FRONT!
