25.01.2022 Gotta make this. Fit in there. Sometimes it's more cost effective to source a replacement engine, rather than repairing damage to the existing. ... Such was the case here with this elantra. After some wiring loom changeover and a big of swearing at a few things- it was all done.

24.01.2022 Dirty jobs! 50 years of dust and dirt. It doesn't taste good. Not at all. ... This HJ fuel tank is in surprisingly good condition, with only minor corrosion spots. A quick wire brush and a coat of rust guard paint will see it good for another 50. While it's out, we've given it a good flush (again, surprisingly clean inside!) And fitted a new fuel sender unit (the reason for removing the tank) Now off to rinse the inch of dust off my face!

19.01.2022 Ready for takeoff! Sweet thunderbird in for a full inspection and general service. We'll be doing some further work on the 390 under the hood in the near future to get it running as sweet as it looks. ... The Thunderbirds of the 60s were definitely peak styling! Gotta love it!

18.01.2022 Good things coming through in two again! #FtruckFriday Just a little age gap between these two. ... The black girl has previously been here for a full brake and suspension overhaul (including many many hours spent on the phone to wreckers in the states to find some parts!) This time she's back for a starter motor rebuild and some Auto electrical gremlins. The blue F100 came in on a tow truck after it conked out on the owner. Couple minor things and it's running again. The little 351 is copping a set of plugs and a carby rebuild while it's here.

17.01.2022 Continuing the "we don't only work on Holdens" theme... ahhhh... its a Chevy Nova? that counts right? aaand a customers VE Commodore... ... plus a torana.. oh... and our dirt-track car... Whoops. The VE hasn't been driven in over 4 months as the owner hasn't needed to get it out- one little mouse had managed to chew through the washer bottle hose! Full service and rear brake service. The Nova is back from the customer's Auto Electrician and will be getting another round of work done- hopefully ending with engineer papers and rego!

Our rebuilt calipers and fresh rotors to go on and it's out the door. ... 16.01.2022 Back into it! We're starting the new year exactly how we finished- full of cool old stuff! One of the biggest compliments we can ever get is when customers return for more upgrade work or even moreso, when they bring back more of their car collection! ... Mustang is back after a Holley sniper install for a check over of how the self learn tune is progressing as well as a list of suspension, steering and brake work. The survivor Holden wagon is here for a general tune-up, carby rebuild (twin strommied grey motor!) And some other work for reliability. And finally the Kingswood is here for a host of maintenance and repair work on brakes, suspension and engine. If you've got a classic, race, modified or project car- you know where to call. We'll have this girl back again in the future to knock over some more work. ... 06.01.2022 We have this little beauty a bit of a nip and tuck makeover for a valued customer. While we don't always take on these sorts of jobs, we couldn't resist for this solid old girl. All four doors received fresh metal across the bottoms, window channels cut and welded, sills and C pillar lowers repaired. ... The front guards and bonnet buffed up perfectly and the rear and doors resprayed to complete the picture. Now it's really coming together!

05.01.2022 **books closed until New Year** We've had a huge year- and it's continued to keep us with a backlog of customers waiting on work. We've got multiple cars to get out the door prior to closing off for the Christmas break. ... Unfortunately this means we are closed for new work until midway through January. We will still be here for registration checks and our existing customers for safety inspections as always, but will be unable to book any new mechanical work until January.
