11.01.2022 A common cause of gas strut failure is incorrect fitment. If your strut is upside down, the shaft will not be lubricated and the seal will leak. Always fit your gas strut the right way up.

05.01.2022 SPECIAL! For February, we are offering a $44 a pair strut re-gas on almost any vehicle at our Maroochydore workshop. Tailgate, bonnet, boot, canopy, caravan. We can also offer the same service for $55 mobile within 20klms. Price includes removal and refitting.

04.01.2022 I had to replace the rear gas struts on a Hyundai i40 a few weeks back. This was the one with the auto opening and closing hatch. Hyundai wanted $4,500 plus fitting for replacements. The owner decided that he could live without the auto opening if it was only going to last 4 years. I replaced them with standard struts. $132 fitted. Very happy Hyundai owner.
