22.01.2022 GPA Studios are incredibly excited to be bringing the 'Musical in a Week' program back to Ballarat this year! We have had great success in our previous years (High School Musical 2016, Beauty and the Beast 2016, and Urinetown 2017). The kids have the best time with such an incredible week of learning, and the family and friends who come to see these shows are absolutely amazed at the standard of performance "Equally matched to that of the BLOC Junior's" - High School Musical 2016, "You really only had 1 week!!??" - Beauty and the Beast 2016, "The best show we've seen in a long time" - Urinetown 2017. We've got the show and production team lined up now we just need the cast! Think you're up to the challenge? 13.01.2022 After 5 years GPA Studios are closing their gates.It has been an absolute pleasure working with some amazing young artists, and incredible teaching staff over the years however the stresses and demands of running a small business/performing arts studio increased each year and whilst it was a difficult decision to make, it was also a necessary one. Before we close we still have our Musical in a Week program coming up and our Showcase! We would like to sincerely thank all those who have been a part of the Gateway family along the way, and if you’re free on Sunday 22nd September then join us as we take one final bow together and celebrate our students, staff, and some special parents who were a wonderful support to the studio!

11.01.2022 Musical in a Week program attendance update: We have become aware that there are a number of practice exams running throughout the week of our holiday program. Whilst ideally we would like 100% attendance for the week due to the nature and intensity of the program, we are allowing a 90% attendance rate to accommodate those who are interested in the program but had a small clash.

09.01.2022 Due to a performance opportunity in the month of September, Jade Naidu is no longer able to work with us on our Musical in a Week Holiday Program. We are incredibly happy for Jade and wish her all the best with her exciting upcoming contract. We would also like to take this moment to welcome Brittany Harbour to the production team for our program! You might have been lucky enough to see Brittany recently in BLOC's recent production of Beauty and the Beast, playing the role of Belle! We are thrilled to have Brittany working on our program! 08.01.2022 We are less than 2 weeks away from this incredible mock audition masterclass! Due to interest we have adjusted the age brackets (why should kids get to have all the fun!?) The advanced session is now for ages 15 - 18+ but be warned just because you're over 18 doesn't mean we're going to take it easy on you :P We have limited places available for both the advanced and intermediate session, email us at [email protected] to book your place.
