05.01.2022 I hope that you had an enjoyable Easter albiet a very different one. I was hoping to deliver to you this morning a very different message to the one that I now find myself writing and sending. As you know, the Federal Parliament passed the third economic stimulus package last Wednesday however after receiving the updated Treasury documents on Good Friday, there is still more questions that need to be answered before we are able to give you more concrete advice on eligibility ...conditions (initially and ongoing) and practical instructions on how to make the claim. To this end, unfortunately we will have to await further information from the ATO and the various software providers who have been working all over Easter to make software upgrades to enable claims to be lodged with the ATO. In the interim, I have attached links to the following generic documents that you may like to have a read if you are curious, however if not, we recommend waiting for our next correspondence which we would anticipate would be a little later in the week.
