Basically, it is used for flossing and cleaning beneath the teeth that are connected and joined from the above and forms a bridge shape. These kind of floss is also used for people with Braces. You cannot get floss down between these kinds of teeth in the normal way. However, there ARE small spaces under the bridge that MUST be cleaned. 11.01.2022 Types of Floss (Part 5.5) Dont know what are Dental Floss Threaders? Check our Facebook post on 22 Feb 2017 How to use a Dental Floss Threader? Get out your dental floss threader! First, you take off about 18 inches of your normal floss. Then you pass one end of the floss through the loop of the threader, and pull about half of it through. Now you are ready to start threading!... Stand quite close to a mirror, so that you can see the area you want to floss. The trick is to angle the threader tip correctly. Try to gently pass the threader under the bridge and pull out from the other side, now the actual floss is beneath the bridge or the braces. Start flossing and when you are finished take the floss out and move to the next teeth.
