24.01.2022 All Clubs It is anticipated that stage 3 program relating to the playing of bowls will be relaxed on 12th July. It appears that we may be able to run the Pennant competition... If you are interested in nominating for the competition please forward the number of divisions you require so a draw can be prepared. Nominations Fee is not required at this stage. Please note: This would need to be done by the 15th June. Phone; Fax or Email to match committee. The intention would be to commence pennant play on the 18th July 2020 The catch-up games would be required on Sunday the 19th & 26th July to allow the competition to be completed on time. CoC Singles & Pairs competition We realize that time is a problem owing to the present circumstances. Club champion Singles and Pairs would need to be finalized by Monday 27th July. 10.01.2022 Poinsettia Cup Listed below are the teams selected to represent Gateway D.B.A. in the Poinsettia Cup competition to be conducted at Wynnum Bowls Club, 1 Bridge St. Wynnum on Sunday 7th. March 2021 commencing at 9.00am. This competition is played between Gateway, Cunningham, Brisbane and Moreton Bay D.B.A’S. There will be 3 rounds of play of 18 ends or bell.... 07.01.2022 Postponement of District Competitions and Meetings. The District Board met on Tuesday 24th March 2020 and, in view of the restrictions placed on Clubs in the present global pandemic, has decided to suspend all District Championships and Council meetings, until further notice. 04.01.2022 Summer Shield Update. The final for section B1 in the Summer Shield competition between Greenslopes and Victoria Point Bowls Club will be played on Saturday the 13th March at 1pm. 03.01.2022 With a view to the tightened restrictions announced this morning Earl Klease, the Gateway Secretary, has checked with Peter Williamson from BQ and apparently as long as the clubs have a Covid Plan and are practising social distancing then bowls can continue.

01.01.2022 Gateway welcomes the State District Sides to our district. Our team will be playing at Cleveland Wed, Thur, and Friday, with the venue of the finals on Saturday for Gateway to be determined by our position after Friday. Cpme on down to Cleveland to cheer our boys on.
