14.01.2022 Pretty happy with this weekend's cake effort for my Uncle Trev's 70th! A lovely gathering of family and friends helped him celebrate last night at Gather. He was an earthmover, is a racing car driver, loves his boat and fishing at Robe, and a nip of Johnny Walker! The cake colour was a bit of a mix to represent the gorgeous ocean colours of Guichen Bay Cake toppers from the very talented Grace at Hello Parker and Co

14.01.2022 Today I had the honour of hosting this beautiful lady's 90th birthday morning tea. Joan was my late Nanna Dorrie's neighbour for many years, and a dear friend, so it was my pleasure to make this milestone even more special. Happy birthday dear Joan, may you enjoy the rest of your birthday festivities.... P.s. Joan told me she even celebrated her 80th at "Settlers" (what my venue used to be called) so we are on a roll to hold her 100th ;-) The little gift cookies were made by argentiniandelights. 09.01.2022 This is a call out to anyone in the community who would love to help out our local Scouts group and donate any cans and bottles they have laying around to help with our fund-raising. Along with many other organisations, all our fund-raising activities have had to be cancelled this year so we are trying new ways to fundraise. I am the Naracoorte Scouts fund-raising coordinator so please get in touch if you'd like to help. We can even pick up :-)

Steps in when needed and nothing is ever too hard - keeps me sane when things are getting a bit stressful in the kitchen! I've know Tam for 20+ years after meeting her when she was doing her chef apprenticeship at Chardonnay Lodge and I did school work experience. Whatever life has thrown at this lady she handles with grace and keeps going! A wonderful mum to 3 gorgeous kids (2 who are also no...w part of the Gather team), a dedicated wife to a very busy farmer and a friend to many! Happiest of birthdays Tam, cheers to many more xxx

When we began this venture over 5 years ago, I... was wanting to create a lifestyle where I was only working on The weekends so I could be a stay at home mum, fast forward to today and both our gorgeous kids are off doing there thing during the week as I and my husband both work. Congratulations Caroline and John. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness I loved all the rustic touches that people add to make their day extra special Shed was decorated by SE Marquees, Weddings & Events ... Cake made and decorated by the Bride.

02.01.2022 Please please please like and share this page Cross Border Call Out to get our politicians to stand up and listen to our border community residents! After Friday many (and by the look of the number of declined applications, most!) will not be able to access essential services such as education, medical services and employment simply because they live over an invisible line and classed as Victorian residents, regardless that their lives revolve around everything in SA. These r...esidents have done the right thing, getting weekly COVID tests, not travelling in to Victoria beyond their homes and wearing masks when in SA yet our state premier wants to now not let them in! As a person who grew up on a farm where you went inside the gate you were in Victoria, yet did all my schooling, sport, medical needs etc in SA, this matter is dear to my heart. And as a business owner I want to shout out to all our border community residents - you are loved, we are all Australian, and I pray that the powers to be see sense before Friday! @cross border call out team - keep up the good work!

02.01.2022 A little skill-building and family-bonding cooking class tonight at the fabulous Sticky Rice Cooking School with the lovely Yuki (@tuktukcatering ) and Daniel guiding our group and looking after us. Such a wonderful facility and we had so much fun cooking up a storm. Came as strangers, left as friends....and in the small world that we live in....we had Adrian Gale's cousin (@thechapelstudio) in our team Highly recommend!!! We will be back to try some other cuisines in the future
