23.01.2022 Hi all, Unfortunately, due to the imposed restrictions surrounding Covid-19, the Gatton Student Association will be cancelling ALL Semester One events Pub crawl will now take place in semester two as previously advised. We hope you understand the necessity of this decision and advise that everyone follows the correct protocols over this time. Rest assured that the minute these restrictions are lifted we will be hosting a celebratory event! Stay safe and good luck for th...e remainder of the semester. This event is for members only Tickets are $35 which includes a few drinks at each pub, bus inbetween (including pick up from halls) and plenty of goon for the bus trips ... Itinerary of pubs to be confirmed.

13.01.2022 In response to the advice given by the Australian government on COVID-19, the Gatton Student Association has postponed Pub Crawl. We understand your frustration wholeheartedly as we’re frustrated too. The decision was founded on the advice that for indoor gatherings of under 100 people, every person should have an area of four square meters to themselves. This made the logistics of Pub Crawl unfeasible and subsequently we decided to postpone it. We love to support the commun...ity that we live and study in by hosting these events and are gutted to postpone. Ideally by postponing this event, we’ll get ahead of the virus and still be able to hold some outstanding events in Semester Two. We do not have any updates for the other upcoming Semester One events, however stay posted on this space. All ticket holders for Pub Crawl will be fully reimbursed through QPAY to the card that was paid on. We’d like to advise our members to stay as safe as possible, practice high levels of hygiene and heed any advice that the Government, University or UQ Union have on this unprecedented situation. The better you practice this advice, the faster we can get back to holding our events for you. We hope you understand the circumstances and would like to thoroughly thank all our members for their support. GSA

05.01.2022 Hey, you! We've got some GOOD NEWS(!!) to share with you all!! We have two events now locked in for semester 2: House Crawl and the GSA Ball! However, they have new dates: House Crawl: Saturday 5th of September (end of week 5) GSA Ball: Friday 25th of September (end of week 8, before the mid-sem break) ... Ball Recovery: Saturday 26th of September. A HUGE thank you to all of our members for sticking with us through these times , we're working hard behind the scenes to make sure these events (and possibly more ) go ahead and members get their moneys worth from their memberships. You'll be given early access to all ticket sales and much cheaper tickets compared to non-member prices - to make up what could've been in semester one Stay posted too though!
