23.01.2022 There is a lot that goes into each and every solder join in all pieces I make. This is a platinum ring in progress. Platinum has a very high melting point hence the bright white glow from heating, making it that little but more tricky to solder. 20.01.2022 This was a big one! Not only in size at over a 9ct tourmaline, but how involved this was to bring everything together. All the baguettes had to be specially cut to fit. There are so many different metal components to make and assemble prepolishing every single surface all in platinum with zero room for any errors, not even 0.01mm as your eye will pick up on them with a very geometric design like this.
