20.01.2022 Now its full steam ahead. Next week, Jim, Duana and Denise will be heading off to Queensland for the Blind Manufacturers Assoc of Australia trade expo. The expo showcases all the new blind fabrics, styles and innovations such as motorisation. I will keep you posted.

18.01.2022 Well Christmas is almost here. Gawler Park will be having a Christmas party on Thursday 23rd Dec. from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The market will be open. There will be a jumping castle, face painter, lucky dip and of course the big man himself - Father Christmas. Come along and enjoy the party.

16.01.2022 Our business has been selected as a finalist in the Northern Adelaide Business Enterprice Centre (NABEC) Business Awards for 2010. The category is Best Retail Business. The winners will be announced today. Wish us luck. I will keep all of you posted.

08.01.2022 I had a new experience yesterday. Larry Cavallaro (Genral Manager of NABEC) has a radio segment once a fortnight on PBA FM (89.7). Yesterday I was his guest. I was very nervous, but I think it went well. He interviewed me about our experience in entering the awards and we discussed the business.

06.01.2022 FREE For those of you who are interested in crafts, we have a wide selection of fabric offcuts and samples of discontinued fabrics. Ideal for quilters and those of you who like to do patchwork.

05.01.2022 Well what a month its been. We now have a new van after the old one went up in flames. Jim got out by the skin of his teeth, but we lost the van and all its contents. The new one is bigger and better. We are in the process of fitting it out and getting new signage. So you will see Jim back on the road in the near future. Give him a toot when you see him.

03.01.2022 WE WON !!!!! Not only did we win the Best Retail Business section, we also won the top award of BEST BUSINESS 2010.

02.01.2022 Jim and I are back from holidays. Had a wonderful time in WA with our daughter. All things in the shop went well, thanks to our great staff Duana and Denise. A huge range of new samples came in for curtains, upholstery and wallpaper, while we were away. I will post some photos shortly.
