24.01.2022 **WEARING OF MASKS** Please be aware that we are currently asking all patients/persons entering our clinic to wear a mask. This is to protect every individual in the clinic. We have decided to do this on advice of SA Health. Should a person enter our clinic, not wearing a mask, and then return a positive COVID test, this will mean our clinic will have to close due to the fact our Doctors and staff will need to isolate for 14days. Isolation will also include other patients that were in the clinic at the time. A closure like this will have a major effect on other patients receiving medical care for 14 days.

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION Please only attend a COVID-19 testing site if you have COVID-19 symptoms OR have been instructed to get tested by SA Heal...th. Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidcontacttracing to find out if you are impacted by the Parafield Cluster AND are required to get tested. We are working hard to extend operating hours of clinics and put on more staff. If you need to get tested: Please be patient with staff who are working hard to organise logistics and collect samples. Be prepared for delays by bringing water and snacks. If you are attending a walk-in site, bring sun protection (sunscreen, hat, umbrella) and a chair. Keep 1.5 metres between yourself and others in line and wear a mask if possible. Do not take other people with you to get tested, other than those you need to care for. Motorists are reminded to not queue across intersections, ensure that you leave enough distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, drive slowly through the testing sites and ensure you have enough fuel if waiting in line at a drive-through clinic. After your test: Go straight home. Avoid contact with other people. Stay in self-isolation until you receive a negative test result (in certain cases you may be required to remain in self-isolation or self-quarantine if directed to do so by SA Health or SA Police, even if you receive a negative test result). 11.01.2022 COVID-19 Health Alert 17 November 2020 (10.49am) Anyone who visited the The Aquadome, 1 Crockerton Rd, Elizabeth on Saturday 14 November between 11.00 am 1....30 pm must self-quarantine immediately for 14 days and seek testing. SA Health is contacting people who attended the location who may have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 case. You may receive an SMS from SA Health. It is important that you self-quarantine properly to protect the community. If your house is appropriately set up so you do not have contact with other people, others who live with you are not required to self-quarantine (unless requested by SA Health or SA Police). 06.01.2022 TELEPHONE CALLS. We apologise if you have had trouble getting through today, the phones have been busy. To help with the amount of calls we are taking we ask that people not call about the flu injections until after the 8th April. We will not be opening up appointments until we have received our delivery. In regards to COVID vaccines we only received 100 doses for this week. When we receive stock we enter this into our online booking system, once those appointments are use...d the system will not book anymore. Delivery is usually on a Friday. We ask that you keep checking our online system and not calling the clinic. We are currently taking over 1000 calls a day. We only have so much capacity and we are a General Medical practice and are trying to continue our regular appointments as well as the vaccinations. Thank you. See more

06.01.2022 Gawler Medical Clinic is remaining open. We encourage patients to look after themselves and don’t put off seeing their Doctor for any health concerns. We understand this will be a difficult time for many people. We can do telephone consults for patients wanting them through this time of lockdown, as long as they meet the Medicare requirements, speak to one of our receptionists.
