21.01.2022 Its taken a "small virus" to get us on FaceBook ;) COVID-19 UPDATE: As of Friday 27th March, Dentists have now been restricted to providing emergency treatment only. As a consequence the team at Gawler Dental Clinic will be actively cancelling all planned and routine dental appointments. We are however continuing to provide treatment for those in pain and other emergencies. Our slightly shorter operating hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday apply. So please call us on (08) 85 221 223 if you need our help.

21.01.2022 Morning fellow self isolators It’s now been one week of level 3 dental restrictions which limit us to emergencies only. Give us a call if you have a problem - better to try and stabilise it early ... if we can. Stay safe

17.01.2022 Welcome back to the new week everyone. We are still open, but just for dental emergencies. We are now accepting patients from The Barossa Valley area again, as long as you aren’t experiencing fever, cough, sore throat, and haven’t been in contact with someone who has tested positive, or suspected of having Covid-19. Stay safe everyone. Keep social distancing, and regularly washing your hands. If we all work together, we can make this pandemic finish quicker! 12.01.2022 Time to Smile again! As of today, 14th May, the Australian Dental Association (SA Branch) and the SA Government have eased restrictions on the practice of dentistry in the state. As a result of this, we are now operating under Level 1 restrictions. This means we are now able to carry out all aspects of dental treatment, from routine check ups to full mouth rehabilitations and everything in between, while still adhering to our strict Covid-19 screening and social distancing practices. This is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all of our valued patients and staff. Feel free to contact us on 8522 1223 to make an appointment.

11.01.2022 COVID-19 Update 9:45pm 18th November ALL South Australian dental clinics have been instructed to CLOSE immediately by the SA Health Department. The Gawler Dental Clinic is unable to see ANYONE for at least the next 6 days. Extreme emergencies will be triaged by the GDC Partners who can be contacted when ringing the Clinic (85221223)... We await advice from the Government in terms of reopening - hopefully Wednesday 25th November. We appreciate your patience, support and kindness during this tricky time for all and are hopeful that this pause for all South Australians will mean we can be back to normal sooner than later.

04.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS: Good Morning Everyone. The Australian Government has made the decision to ease some of the restrictions placed on dentistry recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As of Monday 27th April these restrictions have been reduced from Level 3 to Level 2. This will mean we can again return to carrying out a larger scope of routine dental services for patients rather than just emergency procedures only. The Australian Dental Association will give us more detailed information about this in the next couple of days, so WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

03.01.2022 COVID-19 Update 10am 21st November Big changes yesterday with the lifting of the pause lockdown announced. We await advice from SA Health and the SA branch of the ADA in terms of reopening - our advice is this is likely to be Monday 23/11.... Dental Clinics are in the same notification group as Elective Surgery and need to receive formal notification from SA Health that the restrictions we fall under will be lifted. When we have this, our team of clinicians will directly call the patients currently cancelled for next Monday and Tuesday to offer them their original appointment times. Patients that were cancelled on Thursday and Friday will be contacted during next week by our reception team. Extreme emergencies will continue to be triaged by the GDC Partners who can be contacted when ringing the Clinic (85221223) We appreciate your patience, support and kindness during this tricky time for all and are hopeful that this pause for all South Australians will mean we can be back to normal sooner than later.

02.01.2022 Monday May 4th update: Good Morning Everyone. The Australian Government has made the decision to ease some of the restrictions placed on dentistry recently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. As of Monday 27th April these restrictions have been reduced from Level 3 to Level 2. We are NOW carrying out a larger scope of routine dental services for patients rather than just emergency procedures only - this includes checkups, most fillings, dentures work. We continue to take very seriously the social isolation and infection control measures to keep us all safe and reduce the risk of future Covid19 transmission, and are encouraging the use of the CovidSafe App within our practice.
