20.01.2022 Gawler and District College B-12 student and recipient of foundation scholarships, Renee Chamberlain is a semi finalist in the regional service category of the Young Achiever Awards. Congratulations Renee!

17.01.2022 The Foundation would like to gratefully acknowledge a donation from Damien & Anna Brown supporting @Gawler & District College B-12 student @Renee Chamberlain. Renee will be travelling to Stuttgart, Germany for 12 months early next year.

16.01.2022 Renee Chamberlain joined us on Tuesday night to share her experience as an exchange student. She left Australia in January 2020 for what was supposed to be a 12... month journey in Germany but had to return only 4 months later due to the COVID pandemic. Renee is the current President of our local Interact Club at Gawler & District College. The club is undertaking a food drive to donate to Foodbank who is working under considerable pressure to support the increasing number of families in need this year. Please see our previous shared post about how you and your office can help!

14.01.2022 It’s Summer Carnival time and it’s all happening! Students from across the school and their teachers have put together some amazing stalls! There is a huge amou...nt of delicious food on offer- pies, cakes, chocolates, sausages and much, much more! Succulents, books and spinning tops are all up for sale- not to mention an amazing art display from our students. Music and drama are just kicking things off- there’s so much happening! 04.01.2022 The Zonta Club of Gawler awarded the STEM scholarship to Tianna Ranford an outstanding student at Gawler and District College. The scholarship has enabled Tianna to purchase her many study guides for year 12 and pay for the UCAT test to study medicine. As Tianna says, "This scholarship has taken a mountain of stress off my shoulders. Tianna plans to study the Bachelor of medicine/ Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). ...
