25.01.2022 ! With term 1 fast approaching, now is a great time to see if you're eligible to receive financial assistance for scho...ol fees (also known as materials and services charges in government schools). The School Card is available in government schools to: families with children aged 4 years and over who attend a school full time independent full-time students studying year 10, 11 or 12 adult re-entry students undertaking subjects to complete their SACE. To qualify, your family's gross income in the 2019/20 financial year must be below the eligibility limits, based on the number of dependent children you have in your family. Information on eligibility criteria, income limits and the application process is available from www.sa.gov.au. Financial assistance may also be available for students attending a non-government school and parents should contact their child’s independent or Catholic school direct for more information.

24.01.2022 Unfortunately, this year will be a little different as COVID restrictions are still in place. We won’t let this dull our shine however and will ensure all students get to view the books and make a wish list. We will also do all we can to ensure you can see what is available at home. 24.01.2022 CLASS OF 2020 SENIOR FORMAL On Friday 11th of September our year 12s celebrated their last year in education by attending their formal at Ayers House. It was a fantastic night and was lovely to see our students having fun and dancing the night away. The following photographs taken on the night will be published in todays issue of The Bunyip so please grab yourself a copy.... Professional photographs taken on the night will be sent to students via a link once they are processed.

The charge for 2020 is: $270.00 for Reception to Year 7 $370.00 for Year 8 to Year 12... To discuss payment or School Card applications please contact our Finance Team on 8521 2400 as soon as possible.

The positivity around the college this morning due to the fantastic organisation of R U OK day as been wonderfully overwhelming. Thank you to all staff across the site who have worked tirelessly to organise and support the strong message behind this day by cooking (P.s. Biscuits and cupcakes were amazing!!), making lovely cards, setting up the Wellbeing Hub and so much more. A very big thank you to our wonderful students who have supported R U OK day through all the activities leading up to and throughout today. 17.01.2022 SA SCHOOLS CONSTITUTIONAL CONVENTION Today, Alex and Renee attended the SA Schools Constitutional Convention online. The program included Speakers addressing the question Should the Commonwealth have specific powers to legislate for Education?. Alex and Renee are now preparing an answer to the question Should we change Australias Constitution? Why? Why Not? and may be eligible to attend the National Schools Constitutional Convention in Canberra in 2021.

04.01.2022 LUNCH TIME ROBOTICS PROGRAM This exciting program kicked off this week in our STEM building. The program runs on Mondays and Thursdays and is being targeted at students who wish to compete in the VEX national competition next year. During the lunch time workshops students will learn how to construct a robot with add-on features that allow it to perform a desired task (such as conveyor belts, claws, boxing, soccer, mazes, and more); and coding and direct operation of the robo...t through programming and hand-held controllers. The Gawler line is current...ly closed until last service Sunday, 25 April, with substitute buses operating. This closure is to facilitate works for the Gawler Electrification Project that cannot be safely undertaken with trains operating in the corridor, and forms part of a range of closures required until late 2021.
