21.01.2022 Good Evening All, we are ready for bookings for Thursday and Saturday, sorry it is a bit late, we are trying to get used to this new system. Please comment below if you are interested in booking a lesson for the following times, remembering that: Thursday 5 to 5.45 is STAR 1 and 2 6 to 6.45 is STAR 3 and 4 ... 7 to 8 is artistic Saturday is beginners only. 21.01.2022 Hi, WE ARE CLOSE TO GETTING BACK TO SKATING We have received confirmation from the Recreation Centre that we can recommence on Tuesday, 9th June and we will be reverting to our normal times.... Tuesday 5 - 8 Wednesday 4.30 - 6 Thursday 5 - 8 Saturday 9 - 10 We are currently in phase 2, which means we can not have any more than 20 people at any given time. With this in mind, the committee will meet to decide best how to manage this. W will keep you posted as we have more information. Kevin

17.01.2022 Hi, Due to events out of our controll, we unfortunately wont have our Star Class or artistic training on Thursday 21st or Saturday 23rd of this month. We appologise about the short notice, but have only recently been given the information from the Recreation Centre.... Star Classes will resume Thursday 28th after the Australia Day Holiday break. 15.01.2022 Attention all Members, as per the meeting minutes that have just been posted, we are heading back to skating next week....FINALLY! In order to manage this in a safe manner and in line with current regulations, we are asking for essential bookings to be made prior to attending. The session times are as follows and we ask that you post below your preferred booking. This post will go on the members page and the Gawler Skating page. Please take note of the following requirements... before making your booking: - Tuesday and Thursday will hold STAR 1 and 2 classes from 5.00pm - 5.45pm and STAR 3 and 4 classes will be from 6.00pm to 6.45pm. Saturday morning Beginners class 9am to 9.45am - There can be a maximum of 20 people in the stadium at one time, this includes 1 committee member, 2 or 3 coaches, 8 skaters with only 1 accompanying adult. - 15 minute change over is for skaters to quickly remove/ put on skates and safe change over of classes to still meet the requirements. - Please only book one session for the week to allow spaces for others, we are hoping this is only for a few weeks. - There will be separate posts for each day to make it a little less confusing. The posts will also be spread out a day or two apart. 2 days before the session, a program will be posted with the groups and payments for the session will need to be paid the day before into the Gawler Skating Club account to secure your spot. 14.01.2022 Hi. As you may know the government has removed some restrictions around indoor sports. We have also received correspondence from the Gawler recreational centre regarding training limitations. We have responded to the centre stating we would be resuming our skating. ... We are currently waiting for a reply from the centre. Once we have all the information the committee will work out how to best manage trainings to remain in line with the current regulations. The G.S.C committee has been implementing a course of action for a return to skating, with a plan to create a booking and payment system to ease us all back into a return as soon as possible. This will include a restriction on the number of attendees, per the Covid guidelines as set by the SA gov. We thank you for your patience and co operation during this time. 06.01.2022 Good Afternoon All, We are ready for week 2 of our Skate class bookings. Last week went really well and we appreciate everyone's support to ensure we are abiding by the Government rules and the Rec Centres. This time we are going to open up the whole week for bookings, however, as we are still restricted with numbers, we are asking again that you only book one STAR class session for the week. We have our fingers crossed that as of next week we can return to a normal program..., but we will keep you posted as we get the updates. Please ensure that you identify the skaters name and session they wish to attend clearly in the comments. Please DO NOT pay until you have been notified of your place. All payments are still to go through the GSC account please. Can you also please note that we can still only have one parent or caregiver per skater in the stadium.
