25.01.2022 Hi all. Hope the start of 2018 finds you all well. Just a reminder that the courts will reopen Monday 22 jan. We will be open from 6pm. Please use this page for all bookings and enquiries. There are a few times available both 30 or 60 min.

24.01.2022 It's World Squash Day this Saturday! Unfortunately the Gawler Squash Centre isn't open on Saturdays, so we'll be having a small celebration of World Squash Day on the Wednesday night (the 11th of October). Come down from 7pm for a game or two, all ages/experience levels are welcome. It will be $10 to play, but there will be free pizza afterwards!

24.01.2022 Due to the coming long weekend, the Gawler Squash Club will not be open on Monday night (1st October). But this also marks the start of the school holidays, and there are a few centres that will have dedicated introductory squash sessions if you or someone you know is interested in giving the sport a try. 19.01.2022 A fortnight ago we hosted the Barossa State 3 players, and theyll be back again this week to play Campbelltown. Well still have one court free for social games, but if youd simply like to watch some state-level players compete, feel free to drop by from 7:30pm.

17.01.2022 Due to the latest covid restrictions we will be closed from midnight tonite for at least the next 2 weeks. Hopefully we can reopen then. Please stay safe and we will see you all soon.

16.01.2022 Dear customers and friends of the Gawler Squash Club, we regret to inform you all of some unfortunate news. On Thursday night we arrived to open the centre only to find work already underway by the South Gawler Football club to remove a portion of the wall between courts 2 and 3. This work was begun without any notice being issued to the Gawler Squash Club, and while we have requested an explanation we have yet to hear anything official from anyone at the football club. This ...is hugely disappointing for us. We are unsure for the moment if we will be able to continue using the court, or if the work already undertaken has made it unsafe to play on. If we are reduced to one court we feel we should be able to continue to operate, but may have to rearrange some bookings to make this work. It may take us some time to adjust to operating in this manner, and we hope we can continue to count on your support. For now it is business as usual, and we will post any further updates as we have them.

14.01.2022 Hi all! As the year comes to a close, so too will the Gawler Squash Club. Our last day of operation this year will be Thursday the 20th, and well reopen on Monday the 21st of January in 2019. Wed like to thank everyone whos supported us over this year, and wed also like to wish everyone a safe and happy holidays and a Merry Christmas.

06.01.2022 Hi all the new season has started, were having a round robin comp this season as were a couple of players short for a full team comp. Always looking for a new players if anyone knows anyone who might be interested, all levels of players from beginner to experienced welcome.

05.01.2022 Good news! With the easing of government Covid restrictions, the Gawler Squash Club can once again open for business! Well be resuming from Monday the 1st of June, so if youd like to make a booking please get in touch. As a reminder (it has been a while) we open for bookings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 6pm and 9pm. We unfortunately dont have the capability to offer cashless payment at this stage. We look forward to seeing you on the courts from Monday!

Weve still yet to hear anything official from the football club, but several of our customers have informed us that they have raised the issue with the Gawler Council. The following was forwarded to us from one of those inquiries. "I wish to advise Council are the owners of the South Gawler Football Club buildings. Any structural changes are required to be approved by Council.... Council staff are currently investigating this matter and have requested the South Gawler Football club to cease any further works." So for the moment we will still have the use of two courts. Again, well post further updates as we receive them. Thanks for your support, everyone.

04.01.2022 Hi all, well its that time of the season with the final to be played next week. Pop in for a look, any new players are welcome, we cater our comp to all levels. Dont forger you can record your game via our new camera and tv set up, just bring a memory stick with you. We will be open wednesday nights during the school holidays for a game or two. The school holidays are a great time to come and meet the players if your interested in playing. Jules or Ash can answer all your questions.

02.01.2022 A big thank you to Alan, Alison, Mark, Peter, Reuben, Rob, and Simon who volunteered their time, equipment and expertise this weekend to help with some maintenance and cleaning around the squash club. The courts are looking a lot brighter and cleaner thanks to your efforts!

Courtesy of a Squash Australia Equipment Support Program we now have seven new junior racquets, three new senior racquets, and a fresh box of squash balls for use around the club. If you were thinking of introducing someone to the game of squash, this would be ideal to help you get started. Feel free to get in touch with us if youd like to come in and give the new equipment a try!
