25.01.2022 In 2018 the New Zealand conservationists hired a professional saxophonist to help get the critically endangered species, um, well, in the mood, shall we say, to increase their population. As a spokesperson for the stunt explained Were aware that the effect of saxophones on kkp might not yet be scientifically proven, but with only 147 birds left, we reckon its worth a punt.

24.01.2022 Today is RUOK Day. But its important to remember that a single day wont make the difference, its the connections we make with people that will help us through the tough times. Its our friends, our family, even those random acts of kindness from strangers that lift our heart. Today is the day to remind us to be there all year for those we love and care about.

As we are still an essential service we will remain open but our services will be confined to urgent cases only. Routine procedures will need to be postponed. If you have any concerns at all, please don't hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to resolve these. We ask that when ...you arrive to please remain in the car and call us to check in your pet. Stay safe everyone

18.01.2022 In 2018 Inky the octopus escaped his tank at the National Aquarium of New Zealand by pulling himself out of his tank, crawling 3 metres across the floor and then through 30 metres of drain that emptied into Hawkes Bay, on the east coast of New Zealands North Island. Rob Yarrell, National Manager of the aquarium said, "I dont think he was unhappy with us, or lonely, as octopus are solitary creatures. But he is such a curious boy. He would want to know whats happening on the outside. Thats just his personality. Houdini, eat your heart out.
