07.01.2022 FAQ#3 What hours/days will I be working? There are no set hours or days as harvest requirements vary from farm to farm and can depend on many factors including the crop size, maturity, market forces and weather. All picking work is carried out in daylight hours. Gayndah’s citrus season runs from March to October and most farms offer continuous work in this period. Peak harvest periods are generally between March to mid June and from July to October. This season, there will be... little downtime between peak periods. If you're looking for work in the Gayndah area this season, please email any of the individual farms mentioned on this page and come and #picktheburnett. Image courtesy of Baronga Produce.
