25.01.2022 Rather cool looking Bobber style CB 750 in for some engine work, jeez these early Jap motors are heavy, got it out on my own but I think might be getting some help to put it back in

24.01.2022 Big shout out to Erwin Leonard for fitting the new lights, huge difference now,

24.01.2022 Just a normal Saturday morning, bikes everywhere

24.01.2022 This RSV4 had a argument with turn 4 at Morgan Park and turn 4 won! Rather beat up etc but RBM fixed it up & its ready to hit the track again, Fairings repaired yeah there not perfect but as they were in multiple pieces not a bad turnout,

24.01.2022 You have to have been there to know the tricks!

23.01.2022 Been a while since #310 was on the bench Full service & new slicks to be fitted,

22.01.2022 Hey, How are you all? Hope your keeping Covid safe? Its been rather busy at RBM HQ and Ive been slack on getting photos of what has been going on, ... Anyhoo the CBR tank I was doing came up awesome after throwing lots of Dad dancing moves in the shop with the cleaning chemicals, Its now back together & after 5 years of sitting it runs again Final fluid changes & its ready to hit the road. Lots of other stuff going on with major services, fork seals, valve clearance adjustments etc, Cheers, Gaz

21.01.2022 At RBM I do a lot of bikes that have been left sitting around & I rather like bringing them back to life. It pains me when peeps can leave a bike so long that when the petrol goes off to this level it causes so much damage & issues. I had to smash the fuel cap just to get it open it was so seized up.... This particular tank is going to take a lot of work to clean/new parts to get working again.

21.01.2022 Filthy fork Friday! Theres more to this story so watch out for the rest of the pics and write up over the weekend And yep that was the full amount of oil left in the fork!

21.01.2022 I might be biased, but I think the 748-998 era Ducatis look awesome with there clothes off,

20.01.2022 American Iron in for service and accessory fitting, not sure about the ape hangers as I struggled to ride it, Need to be like Mr Tickle,

18.01.2022 Following on from the Filthy fork post here is the rest of it. A rather neglected YZF came into RBM for some rather seriously overlooked issues. The forks seals had passed all the oil a long time ago & the leaking oil has made its way onto the pads & rotors contaminating everything on its way south.... The result is no response from the suspension & zero action from the oil filled & worn out pads. After removing the forks & calipers a major clean up job was required. Anyhoo, all stripped, cleaned, new seals, fork oil, pads, rotors, full flush of brake fluid & rebuilt. A very time consuming & dirty job but the result is worth it, the bike will now ride better & also stop when needed! Dont over look the important aspects of your bikes servicing.

15.01.2022 Yeah so Ive been a bit slack on the updates so heres a few pics for you all to wonder whats been going on,

15.01.2022 Big shout out and thanks to Matt at Clean Ride Brisbane I gave him a bit of a challenge to get my 23yr old 105000km rather neglected ST a clean & wow Im blown away with the result! Its been sat in my garage for the last 5 months or so & I dont like washing bikes so was rather shit to look at now its like well nearly new! ... Give Matt a shout if you need your bike deatailing to a high standard. Before & after

13.01.2022 Hmmm new shop equipment,

13.01.2022 Whoop! Some exciting news for RBM to be released tomorrow,

12.01.2022 Whilst doing the forks on this bike I thought I would just have a up look at the air filter as the air tubes were removed, I couldnt leave the filter like that so had to have a look to see if I could clean it, I was rather speechless when I got into the air box..... The original filter was still there with the K&N placed on top.

11.01.2022 Ok, which bike do you all reckon I will be working on first tomoz? ?

11.01.2022 RBM has been working with Sarah Fairbrother this (strange) year to rebuild and service her Moriwaki race bikes, Im so pleased to see her back out on the track plying her track skills & having a good time on her two bikes,

10.01.2022 Now we can talk! (to your bike!) Big thanks to Moto-Tech Diagnostics for setting RBM up with the latest TEXA Diagnostic tools. Cant wait to start playing with this awesome tool

10.01.2022 A new tail unit for the big Kat Dan & aka Lisa Powell & I have been working on, Turned out rather good I think, Looks rather close to the original seat,

08.01.2022 Er, thats not a bike on the trailer, hmm whats going on at RBM this weekend,

08.01.2022 Has your bike been idle for a while? Probably need to get it checked out before you put the new battery in & try & start it up after its long sleep. This is a pre-oil breather filter on a Suzuki that has been sat for a few years - imagine this going through the motor on start up.

08.01.2022 Hmm, So alcohol and engines has a good way of coming up with awesome ideas....at the time of the idea, Well this client tried to combine - I get the thought process but XXXX Golds just wont do it. I got it apart and luckily there was no damage to the parts.... See more

07.01.2022 Yeah ok then, client says my mate did the wiring.....

06.01.2022 Workshop upgrade, now I have three benches to work on your bikes,

06.01.2022 At RBM I always try and do my best to fit everyone in - yeah some jobs take a bit longer but that means you get the full attention of my warped mind fixing your bike. When someone has an issue - especially a safety one I will do my upmost to get the bike in & fix the issue so you can ride on safely. Stephan had an issue with his brakes.... As RBM is open 7 days it was easy for him to get the bike to the shop so I could diagnose & fix the issues, I am so pleased to see posts like this,

01.01.2022 Random pics from the last week, been rather busy and keep forgetting

01.01.2022 Bit of old school work, 12 weeks for a genuine gasket thanks to covid.

01.01.2022 Front end Friday,
