24.01.2022 Wow!! Another fabulous " International Night". Great to see some new Diners as well as many regulars. BIG cheerio to Alan who was not fit enough to join us. A great job done by ourTeam. Ben, Jul, Adelle and Georgia. Thankyou.

22.01.2022 Unbelievable!!!! Scumbag, Pondscum thieves have struck hard and fast at our storage facility in Morwell!! 45 years worth of treasured collections of antiques and memorabilia have been stolen from us. Numerous Moroccan lanterns, trays, hardware & glassware. Our collection of antique telephones and furniture. Kitchen stock pots and over 100 treasured cook books from our time in business. Our unique "black Forest" carved eagle/deer/tree &mirror hall stand, affectionately referred to as "The Monster". It is Huge ! 7-8 feet tall. Please keep your eyes peeled if you're at the markets or roaming around Gumtree or ebay.

16.01.2022 An interesting Japanese Banquet. Gotta love chopsticks ! The Beef ribs were the stand out. Well done Ben, Julia and Adelle. You were fabulous. Lovely to see so many regulars in again. We appreciate all of your support and feedback.

14.01.2022 In our haste to let you all know that we have retired it was inevitable that we may inadvertently omit important people in our lives as fortunately, there have been so many. Firstly, our number one ticket holders, Lyn & Murray French who have been weekly regulars since we began. Their support,and knowledge has been endless. Sincere thanks for your love and friendship. Lastly but certainly no least, a huge thank you to Matt Atkins, our number one Son in Law, unofficial Accou...ntant,drop every thing doer of all things financial and fabulous Father of precious Grandchild Monet . 12.01.2022 Well, here it is..........After 33 years Gaztronomy is being laid to rest. It is now final. Sadly, we were not able to conduct a 'Last Hurrah", as this came down to the wire only days before Christmas and contracts not signed until only last week. We have had our plans dashed before, so we were reluctant to say too much before. We would like to sincerely thank our wonderful customers over the many, many years. Together we have ridden the waves of the changing tid...es of the Restaurant world. We are forever grateful for your loyalty and support. We have been privileged to have been part of your lives, through your happy and some times, not so happy times. We have witnessed so much. To our own families and Special Friends - (you know who you are), who have encouraged us, all through the years and have understood the demands of our life. Especially to our beautiful girls, Cian and Keely. To my Mum and Dear Dad (King dishwasher on our first night)! Amazing support. To Janet, our reliable Nanny in our first 4 years. We have trained many Chefs and worked with so many people during our time. To Nola, our wonderful Baker, Social Secretary and keeper of Good Spirits. To our Maintenance Man Val, Judy and Graham, general run a round Good Guys. You have made our lives so much easier. To Julia, my right hand Girl and Tech Wizz. 11.01.2022 The "Last Hurrah" is now done and dusted! Thank you Abbi for accomodating us so generously. Thank you to all who came to say farewell. We look forward to enjoying the bounty that surrounds us... family, friends and food !! If you all show Abbi and the Vault Kitchen and Bar the same support that you have given Gaztronomy over the years she will flourish. There are now even more options available. Support the local small businesses to remain present in our town. Even if it's a regular after work coffee/drink. Pre movie cocktail and nibble. Check it out, try it..... you might like it, as we tell our kids. For the early birds!!!!! They do breakfast as well. Don't forget the Stone Grill.... First in the Valley!! Good luck Abbi.
