10.01.2022 A big week last week with my brother Brad Halleday over near Horsham. The front of this place had been hit by a neighbours car. All of the work, including demolition, brickwork, plastering, second-fix carpentry, painting and cleaning was completed by the two of us between Monday and Saturday.

06.01.2022 Unfortunately my holidays have come to an end, which means I'll be getting back into work this week! Here's a job that I completed just before we went away. The client wanted to open up her kitchen and lounge, and incorporate a breakfast bar in-between the two. All of the work was completed by myself, apart from the salt damp treatment which was done by Gilbert Plastering. Check out the step by step process!

06.01.2022 A rather large 12m x 9m pergola I've been putting up over the weekend. A bit of a different style of pergola. Rather than mounting to the fascia like usual, we installed roof extenda brackets through the roof, so the structure is tied into the solid limestone walls of the house. It also has 9 verandah posts with 1m x 450mm concrete footings. Hopefully this will be enough to hold it down during those windy days at Port MacDonnell!
