21.01.2022 Now that Ty and I have settled back into mundane life in Toronto after a busy honeymoon and Christmas and New Year period, I wanted to thank you so much for helping me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. As soon as Ty and I got engaged, I knew that I wanted you to be the hair-stylist for myself, two bridesmaids, and my mum. Once I worked out what I wanted, I was pretty nervous about whether it would be achievable given my hair length, but you went above and beyond expectatio...ns! I absolutely loved how you styled my hair, and felt like a queen on my wedding day. Thank you so so much, too, for always being so lovely, even when I sent you a flurry of emails full of half-baked ideas and then at the trial forgot to bring practically every accessory I planned to wear on the day! You are awesome, and I couldnt have asked for anyone better! All that to say, thank you so so much, and all the best for 2020! Lauren

11.01.2022 Things I wish I knew in my first year of Hairdressing! 1. There’s no 9 to 5....ever! 2. Forget lunch it will be a fond memory. 3. You will learn the brand of hairspray by taste. 4. You will learn the skill of nodding and communicating over a hairdryer with the skill of a therapist.... 5. Hair you get out of your skin won’t be ever be yours. 6. You will be on your feet all day...ALL day! 7. You will hurt yourself -cuts, burns and hunger pains. 8. You will do formulas in your head like Einstein 9. Small things like going to the toilet, sitting down and silence are really big things. 10. You will learn a foreign language. 11. You will often drive home with colour on .....and you will feel grateful. 12. You will watch and learn ,learn and watch, watch and learn........forever 13.
