25.01.2022 When you can't pick just one photo!

20.01.2022 A very long hot day out at BOB for the team. Prepping 3 on my own certainly gave me a challenge but super happy with how everyone turned out. Some massive improvements from last weekend at Barastoc and little Sebbie had his debut which has been a long time in the making. Saffire 1 came away with a top 10 finish in the large show hunter hack whilst both Sebago and Buckwell Park Impact missed out by just 1 point. Despite the heat it was a great event and congratulations goes o...ut to the SHCV Border group for a fantastic event, as well as class sponsors and volunteers. 14.01.2022 We had a great time out at our first event back since COVID commenced. Whilst we had entered Clipper who came up lame, Ernie had one ride the day before after a week off and was taken for his very first outing. Went in with no expectations except to stay on (thoroughbreds ) he was impeccable all day and came away with a top of 83% and reserve champion in our level. Lot's of positive comments from the judges and onlookers so we can't wait to see how he shapes up for the futur...e. He's had not even 30 rides since he retired in October and commenced his tendon rehab so he's done us all proud with his behaviour and potential. As always thanks to the committee for a fantastic day out and to our sponsors and companies that keep our horses performing at their best. 13.01.2022 Barastoc Horse of the year 2020 Our first event of the year came Barastoc HOTY for both GB Sundancer and Pompeii GB. Sunny contested 3 events over the weekend coming away with Top 10 senior rider, 3rd place Owner Rider Show Hunter and just missing out placing in the large class of open hunters. Clipper was a little star all weekend coming away with Top 10 Newcomer Small Hack, this being his first ever show undersaddle he coped with the atmosphere at Werribee better than a...sked and performed a faultless workout. He still showed some green moments being still a baby and new to this but a great opening event for him against seasoned older horses. We had entered both the owner rider and OTT ridden classes but due to a class clash and him being overly tired we decided to withdraw from these events. A happy, safe first show experience far out ways a ribbon to me, and given he had done everything asked of him on the Saturday we decided to leave it at that. 13.01.2022 Recovery after yesterday is proving difficult very long but amazing day yesterday at JEA dressage. GB Sundancer had her first start in 4 years and her first Elementary start with mum on board. Scores weren't amazing but some incredible work produced so just a matter of time and miles for her. BP Impact was the calmest he has ever been and gave me a good novice for 61%, but blew everyone away to finish on a 70% in the Prelim. Only his second dressage outing so I couldn't be ...prouder. Saffire 1 produced a mixed Novice for 65% to then redeem herself for 73% in the Prelim. Her first event back after 2 months rehabbing her back and we came out as a new horse, including scoring my first 9's and plenty of 8.5's. After the 12 months of pain and set backs we've had I'm super happy we now are starting to get the scores and work I knew she was capable of. 13.01.2022 Tallangatta Show We really set ourselves a challenge this weekend An early start out at Tallangatta Show with both horses coming away with a stack of broad sashes- my biggest haul yet! It was great to have them out in a bigger atmosphere this time with wood chopping on the main arena, a digger AND semi removing the wood blocks which created quite the distraction but both proved they can keep their mind on the job. 11.01.2022 So albeit Ive been very slack on the page posting our results life has been hectic. So now for a back log of the last 6 months. Riverina Dressage Festival 2019 Saffire 1 had a great show coming away with a 3rd in the Preliminary championship, just missing out by 1 point on reserve. An average score of 73% across the weekend she produced some lovely work, and again improved our Novice scores to the high 60's despite being a little too tired after a big trip. ... Jindera Dressage Association Championships Brumby Jack had his first event back in 3 years and his first Small Tour event. We came away with promising scores especially since it was only his first attempt and my first proper test in years since only having young ones coming through. We finished 1st in both the PSG and Inter 1 to take out the Small Tour Pony Champion across the weekend, receiving lovely prizes! Nathalia Show Pompeii GB our off the track gelding came away with Champion Led Hack and Myself Reserve Champion Senior Rider. A small mishap meant we just missed out on Champion in the hunter event but for both horses first open show we couldn't be happier. Yarrawonga Show GB Sundancer was sashed Champion Show Hunter Hack against some great company. Beyond the Track program In late October the opportunity came for me to rehome another racehorse, a 7yo gelding Eramosa by Alamosa. Ernie arrived a bit worse for wear but is slowly making progress into his new life. We have spent the last 4 months spelling and rehabilitating him for a strained tendon injury. Ernies original trainers had already done some flat work with him so hes been easy to long rein and get going with. He starts his ridden life in a few weeks.

05.01.2022 Selecting the right feed product and then feeding it accurately is the one of the most important parts of making sure your feeding program works. Here is how to... do that: FEED THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT Look on the bag or bucket of the product you are using, find your horse’s body weight and appropriate workload or stage of life and check the recommended daily amount for that product. ARE YOU FEEDING THE RECOMMENDED AMOUNT? It is important to feed the recommended amount of a product because these amounts are carefully calculated to meet your horse’s full nutrient needs. Feeding less means your horse will be left deficient in some nutrients. Feeding more is probably a waste. THE KEY IS TO CHOOSE A FEED THAT HAS A FEEDING RATE APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR HORSE! Within the Pryde’s range there are products with feeding rates from 100 g/day right up to 5 kg/day. Use our product selection trees or the EasiFeed Selector to find the best feed for your horse. 04.01.2022 Deniliquin Show 2019 Despite the predicted hot weather we had a super day out at Deni show with two horses. Coming away with a win in every class and res champ show hunter on Sebago. The weather played surprisingly nice with a slight breeze making it all the more bearable. With thanks to the organisers and sponsors of the events, along with everyone behind the scenes. 03.01.2022 1 week before and after on Balanced Equine Best Guess formula. Really happy to already be seeing a difference in colour at only 1 week since starting. We have zero pasture here so every horse has benefited from having an additional source of minerals.

01.01.2022 What a way to end the season. Quick day out to Euroa to debut my new small hack BP Kardashian to Champion led hack. Super proud of how the baby of the team handled herself, can't wait to see her out undersaddle next year. Impact gave me the best rides to come away with Champion Hack, Champion Rider and Smartest on parade. To top it off we came home with supreme ridden exhibit where we won both our fist garland quietly we go... Thank you to the organisers and sponsors for a super fun end to the season.
