20.01.2022 To all our lovely clients - present, past and prospective. I’m writing this post to notify of a change in payment conditions effective from Monday the 28th of May, 2018 (inclusive). As of Monday ALL APPOINTMENTS will require a 10% non-refundable deposit in order to be formally booked in, that is: with the time marked out and allocated. The deposit acts as security for the legitimacy of a booking. The deposit will be subtracted from the overall total of your appointment on th...e day, upon completion of services - where the balance is payable IMMEDIATELY. (Eg - an appointment costing $100.00 will require a $10 deposit where the remaining balance will be $90.00 and is payable upon completion of your service) Get Blown Hairstyling has recently upgraded its payment facilities and can now accept card payments over the phone thanks to our merchant services provided by Bendigo Bank. Failure or refusal to pay the booking deposit will result in no booking being made. These changes are a necessary introduction and a healthy improvement for the business; first and foremost Get Blown Hairstyling is a place of formal business - we encourage a healthy rapport between Stylist and Client through the foundations of respect, transparency and politeness. There will be no exemptions to these updated terms of payment. So here’s a few to make up for loss time: Loved this fun take on the winter blonde; warm low lights applied against the contrast of striking blonde weaves that frame the face and melt into the rich base colour in a sweeping effect. 10.01.2022 So all the hairdressers are gearing up to shut down; I’ve been so unusually fortunate in 2020; I’ve received so many enquiries and new clients, had fantastic feedback, hold a 5 star rating on my google reviews and I’ve been working almost every single day straight for 5 months.... by comparison, a million people have not worked a single day. In July alone I averaged takings of around 60% of the national average income. For me, COVID turned the world I always felt I could neve...r succeed in up-side-down, and as the familiar environment of hostility and rejection fell to illness - I reformed after a life time of melting... while the world bowed to silence and segregation; I seized every available opportunity to work. Finally the field felt more akin for a player as maladapted as I. For me; things have been good... And now, the time has come for me to put the hairdryer away and power down the tools of my trade, to allow the healing of isolation to sweep out plague ad pathogen. And as sad as I am for the velocity to suddenly cease; I am also humbled in my reflection of a unique 6 months sinking 3 pointers. I am okay with this forced moratorium. For me, things have been good. And the time has come for a good thing to take temporary stop. And On September 13, when it all finally stops, I will be rejuvenated at the helm and ready with my finger on the trigger of my tail comb, a hair dryer and a round brush... And for me, things will continue to be good. I believe this
