19.01.2022 Hi everyone , just an extra note to our last posting , we now have a power source , although it being temporary , with the gracious permission from the church it is only a domestic supply to run lights water fridge small hws ,this all comes under OH& S , the generator we were using is just about past it’s use by date ,very noisy and one of our members would have to go home as it created a problem to his health. Also we would like to give a huge thank you to one person in particular ,Sonja B who was donating weekly towards our power connection. Thanks Sonja

19.01.2022 Hi to all I know that I have not made any posts recently , thats because nothing really exciting ha happened . So to put you all in the picture . Due to the uncertain times ahead . If you see someone there its just a pop in to check on things or to retrieve some item for a project we will be doing at home stay safe and keep healthy. Regards John

12.01.2022 Merry Christmas & a happy new year to all. We have had a good 2019 and looking forward to 2020 , we had an end of year get together last Monday 23rd and announced we now have our certificate of occupancy . So now its onward we go , we can now plan the sheds activities with membership input , we had a few hurdles to jump to get our certificate with all the new rules and regulations . We only had one objector on two issues .But, patience is a virtue it was quote...d that it wont happen (clean up you own back yard first ). On another note we lost two of our most esteemed members , life time member Juelo Kilner and Bill Hammer , condolences to both families. At present , we are running a generator for power till we are able to source it from the grid , which will be a costly exercise , many sausage sizzle days ahead. and grant applications to source the funding. So I/we wish all a happy/ healthy 2020. Regards John See more

01.01.2022 Did you know that one in five Australians will experience a mental health condition in any one year? Despite this number, few Australians access services and treatments that could help them with their mental health. Are Australians failing to recognise mental health symptoms? Are they unable or unwilling to access appropriate services? With research partners Australian Catholic University, the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia is conducting a survey to find out more... about Australians Mental Health Literacy. This research will assist in understanding how much Australians know about mental health conditions and provide insight into what needs to be done to improve services. The survey can be completed by anyone, regardless of where you live in Australia. #mensshedsformenshealth #RFDS
