13.01.2022 I, the Gawler and Barossa TRT Scheme am going through and checking RR at the moment. So many of you are coming up as EXPIRED...even though your ETR is current. I know most of you know this but I’m putting it out there to all. A bit of RR housekeeping Solution: ALWAYS KEEP YOUR AUTHORITY TO TEACH UP-TO-DATE, when you apply for a new ETR and have received it upload to RR. If you don’t keep it current and you come up as expired schools may break your connection. All schools yo...u are connected to see your profile, so if I’m seeing it wrong then all other schools are too. If you uploaded your ETR in 2020 then I suggest UPLOADING it again. Log on to RR, go to your name, then profile, scroll down to documents, click ADD DOCUMENT. New window appears...type in description of document, Remember to TICK box to left of THIS IS MY AUTHORITY TO TEACH, adjust date if necessary (the first certificate to expire), then select file (attach your ETR)...delete old ETR and SAVE. (You will see an expiry date next to ETR if uploaded correctly) If uploading RAN, TRB, First Aid, Working with children check etc DO NOT tick box. Only tick box for ETR If you are contracted turn days of UNAVAILABILITY to green and SAVE. If you haven’t used RR in 6 months it automatically deactivates so login monthly to keep it ACTIVE. Now that your ETR is ongoing check expiry date prior to uploading and adjust when uploading before selecting file. (Click on date to adjust.) Remember to SAVE. Make sure you have a spiel in your profile description, how will schools know how amazing you are if there’s nothing about your work practices. You can add to this anytime as your skills grow. 08.01.2022 RR house keeping ALWAYS have your CURRENT ETR on RR, even if you have a contract. I’m ready to pause a lot of people (which means you won’t get job offers/notifications from the schools I coordinate) coz it hasn’t been uploaded correctly...after many attempts of contacting, emailing and texting. I offer my support to all...so that your profiles are correct...I could just break connections, but I prefer to let you know what’s wrong and allow you to adjust to make it correct....
