19.01.2022 Working with our client Tom from Beaudesert we put together this modified IBC chop and flip system. This uses one 4000ltr pump with excess isolators to distribute water to each grow bed, with the excess water back into the fish tank. We also made one bed with clay media and the other a floating raft system. A four port air pump was used to distribute air to both the floating raft bed and fish tank. The system will now be cycled without fish and some sacrificial plants. We will be supplying quality Aquaponics garden systems and equipment along with consumables and ready to grow full Aquaponics kits. In light of what is going on in the world right now what better way to start being independent and growing your own fresh vegetables, in a very small space without any need for use of pesticides, using up to 90percent less water than a normal soil garden?. 09.01.2022 Changed my personal Aquaponics raft system to get rid of the 50mm foam which everyone uses. Problem with foam is it harbours algae and slugs lay their eggs in it so thanks to my best buddy Mick Scharf I took his idea and ran with some metal mesh suspended 50mm above the waterline and used a Bunnings tarp to cover all I then do is cut a cross anywhere I want to plant . #grow #aquaponics #growyourownfood #fishtank
