25.01.2022 Vic State for 2019 is in the books! Back to back Vic State Championship wins. Hat-trick Vic IP Club Championship wins.... Absolutely over the moon! When I started tinkering with this car 5 years ago I never thought it would be something I could achieve! Thanks again to everyone who supports us throughout the year. My gratification goes out to the clubs and organizers of the series and race meetings, all the marshals and admin people who work behind the scenes to allow us to race, rain hail or shine. Thanks also everyone who swings past wherever we are pitted to have a chat and talk shit, you guys all make the weekend worth it when were arent on the track. Thanks everyone, cheers!

24.01.2022 Today was a reminder of why I love this sport, the roller coaster that it brings you. We had our first ever pole at Winton only then to have it stripped away for passing under red during qualifying. My mistake, I missed the flag and accepted the penalty. We started from 30th on the grid and drove to 3rd place. The high of the roller coaster wasnt the placing at the end of the race, it was the feeling that today I felt I drove my best. After racing bikes growing up, over a de...cade of karting and racing IP for 4 years I felt today I did the best job I could. I have had a stressful month with a lot going on away from racing and at one point was going to withdraw from the weekend. But thankfully a couple of my very good mates, Ian Mclennan and Lee Partridge spent their night putting the car back together and got it on the trailer for me. I have made some really good mates through racing and I will be forever thankful for the friendships I have made over the years because of it. Here is the video from todays in-car of race 1 Dont mind the race taped up glove box the dash went back in the car in a rush! https://youtu.be/Ef_jfzy7lcg

23.01.2022 https://youtu.be/hEK-T4t_-uw From last to 12th in the GC Electrical VX Senator during race 2 of the Bathurst 12 hour Improved Production support races.

23.01.2022 Ripper first day on the mountain. New suspension setup feels good, it does need a few tweaks however but most of that I will do at the next Victorian round. Landed in P5 in a short practise session this morning and P7 in qualifying this afternoon. Cant wait for tomorrows races. Midas have come on board as the event primary sponsor for this event along with bilstein and Vsport. Thanks guys, these events cant happen without your support. And as always thanks to GC Electrical and Data Services, No Fear Security, Pro-Cut Tree Services Pty Ltd., PowerHouse Engines and Craigs Onsites.

23.01.2022 Well unfortunately we have withdrawn from Round 1. The car needs too much work and too many parts to get fixed in time, I have a brake issue I need to fix also as well as its usual maintenance between meetings. Ill use this down time to also fix some oil pressure and temp issues that it has, along with a few other pesky issues that need fixing. Along with that my car trailer needs some major work I found tonight when I unloaded it, all that and along with building the new trailer I need to take my time and prepare everything properly. Not sure when I will get it all on track next, motivation is low! Maybe round 2, if not later in the year... Cheers!

21.01.2022 Ripper day today at Sandown, after a troublesome day yesterday. Qualified in P3 with an average lap. Race 1 we managed a good launch off the line and managed the race win. Proud of everyone who helps me work on and prep the car, this is the most unprepared I have ever felt for a race meeting but thats life sometimes. Hope to see as many faces at the track tomorrow as possible!

21.01.2022 Well that wasnt what we wanted, had a mechanical issue in the second race on the last lap and rolled the car over the finish line from half way down conrod. With only 2 weeks until round 1 its unlikely that Ill get it resolved by then so Ill see if I can get it fixed or simply withdraw from round 1. Not what I had hoped for however with only 2 weeks between 2 big events its how it is. Massive thanks to Brownyn and Steve Lacey for organising the event and the Marshalls a...nd officials who all stood in 40 degree heat. Thanks to everyone who has sent me photos and videos of my car over the weekend I appreciate it. We cant post footage for a couple of weeks as Chanel 7 have a rule against it until a set date. Ill post up some in car when the time comes. Cheers everyone! See more

20.01.2022 https://youtu.be/fuyhlLaq7Hs Packed and loaded for Sandown but thought i would share one of my favorite battles this year from Winton.

19.01.2022 Our new bouncy bois arrived just in time for bathurst.

14.01.2022 Fun little sprint day at Sandown yesterday and managed to set a new PB while we were there. Still need to settle the rear down at T9 and T11-12 but im happy with that to end the year. https://youtu.be/PdGYZCvTLdU

14.01.2022 Well thats round 2 done, great weekend with P2 in qualifying and 3 race wins. The racing was fantastic with the BMW boys giving me a run for my money. Great to have some close racing and a good clean run with no contact. After a troublesome round 1 it was good to come home with only the usual maintenance work to fix. Thanks to the family and friends for coming down to support us. Thanks Macca for the big photo poster its going to loom grouse on the office wall! On to Winton!

14.01.2022 So the VX is off getting corner weighted and aligned for Bathurst so we had some time to make some more progress on the trailer this weekend. The chassis is finished and painted. The frame of the aluminium box is mostly complete, some welds Im getting a professional to weld up on it as my alloy welding is hit and miss, then lastly to make up a tailgate for it. Hopefully we can get the floor down next weekend and then make up the work bench and toolbox cradle. Then its off to Bathurst to run with combined sedans to kick off the year.

12.01.2022 Grouse work @Powerhouse Engines for getting the engine back to us tonight and thanks Daniel James for the help putting it in. A few more parts tomorrow morning and we will give up the big girl tomorrow. I didnt think last month when I was standing on the wall watching the end of my race go by at Winton after it went up in smoke that it would be back on track this year let alone the next month. Its funny how you can turn setbacks into motivation.

11.01.2022 Crazy outlap at PI today! Almost run out of lock at turn 2! https://youtu.be/sgIciS0d1VI

09.01.2022 What an absolute pisser to drive these things! Were 3rd last, were on the wrong tyre and I need to learn how to use a tow for the first time in my racing life but I see why people love these little things. I even remembered to use the clutch changing gears!

07.01.2022 So Ive been quite sick the last month or so with something non corona related, but I did find an hour to start to skin the trailer. Hopefully Im back to 100% soon enough and we can get it finished. Looking forward to the world returning to normal so we can all go racing again!

06.01.2022 A word from our sponsors!

06.01.2022 CAMS Victorian state awards night.

05.01.2022 I have been very busy the last couple of months with a lot going on away from racing with work and what not. Unfortunately back at Winton we broke a crank which in turn broke a rod and has resulted in a spectacular engine failure. Unfortunate the crank was less than a year old but thats life in this game we play. With the budget stretched as far as it has been for us this year I have decided we are going to build a junker for the remainder of this season. We have a stock 98 ...block and crank, with the repaired sump from the main engine, rods from a previous engine and pistons from the one we just had. A stock manifokd and a stock set of heads. Given its a Frankenstein build I have nicknamed it Frankie. Fingers crossed Frankie gets us through the remainder of the year and we can reassess what to do after that. As always thanks to John and the boys at Powerhouse engines for getting this one built for the next round. See you all at Sandown! See more

04.01.2022 Iv still been pretty crook recently so the trailer progress has been slow but we made some recent progress, almost all the trim is finished, some of the side and clearance lamps are mounted. One issue with it is the rear beaver tail has ended up being too low so Ill have to change the axle and spring setup to raise the trailer. Might need to change the towbar tongue to change the rake of the trailer possibly... Ill have to see how it sits when its loaded.

04.01.2022 https://youtu.be/feib_bnIgcU Come onboard for race 1 at Sandown for round 4.

04.01.2022 A little play day with the team mate in the Pro-Cut Tree Services Pty Ltd. Monaro at Winton on Friday. Not much between the two different cars now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrsfq6LrTnw

02.01.2022 FOR SALE: Spax shocks to suit vt-vz Commodore. From the 2017 and 2018 Victorian IPRA winning car. Will be sold with dyno sheets and setup information.... Will come with solid bearing tops. Not being sold with REAR springs but spring setup information and what not will be sold with them. Front struts strengthened and rebuilt last March by Ric Kemp. 2 way adjustable. Front and rears. 02.01.2022 Thanks everyone who supported us through 2019! Thanks to all my mates who spanner the thing, particularly Ross for always swinging spanners off the thing when I break the rocket, my sponsors for helping fund it, John at Powerhouse Engines for the overnight rebuild at round 1, and everyone who comes and says gday at the track and talks shit in the pits!

01.01.2022 Its been a pain in the ass making an alloy Tailgate that fixes to a steel hinge but its finally done and it even works for no extra cost.

01.01.2022 So with 3 days until round 1 and my entry still paid, I have managed to find myself a sled for the weekend! Its lacking probably 520hp from the usual chariot so its going to be something different. Unfortunately Im in training at work on Friday so practice isnt going to be possible so its straight in the deep end for qualifying on Saturday morning, hopefully not in the predicted rain. Dont expect us to be on the top step of any podiums this weekend and from all accounts I ...have been told its the oldest Formula Vee on the planet however its going to be better than sitting at home watching on natsoft! Thanks Mick Fisher for the lend of the chariot and Daniel James for the lend of the trailer!
