20.01.2022 Want to get your oven looking like this?! I’m sure cleaning the oven has crossed your mind at some point but you wondered where to start and if it’s worth the effort?! It seems like an overwhelming, time consuming task so I have some tips to share with you to make it a little easier. I’ll be posting a video tonight, along with where you can buy the products/equipment needed. Keep posted!

19.01.2022 **OVEN CLEANING TIPS** What we use: -OVEN CLEANER. My favourite brand is Easy-Off Heavy Duty Cleaner. You can buy it from Woolworths (Red can) ... -SHARP BLADE SCRAPER. You can buy these from Bunnings. We use these to remove any left over stubborn marks that won’t wipe off after being sprayed with oven cleaner. So much easier than scrubbing with a scourer. -METAL SCOURER. Used on the oven racks after they have been sprayed with oven cleaner. -LARGE RAGS. We always use a large rag to put on the bench to protect the bench from any scratches from the oven trays while cleaning. The oven cleaner can also damage bench tops if left on the bench so always keep that in mind! HELPFUL TIPS: -Spray the oven thoroughly. On top of the racks and also underneath (you’ll have to turn them over) DO NOT breathe the spray in, use a cloth over your mouth or step away after each spray as needed. -I prefer not to spray the oven door as this can leave a big mess and drips down in to the edges which can be hard to clean out. For the door I prefer to use a sharp scraper and gumption. (You can spray the door but not heavily) -Only remove one tray at a time and rinse off so you can work with less mess. -The better you spray the oven racks, the less you will have to use the dreaded metal scourer! -MOST side racks in an oven can be removed. (The parts that the trays slide on). Be careful when you remove them so you remember how to put them back! Most importantly, if you don’t have the time or simply despise oven cleaning, WE ARE A PHONE CALL AWAY!
