There will be an Information and Registration Session for the Gold Coast School of Construction Get Ready 4 Co...nstruction program at The Yarrabilba Jobs Exchange, Shaw Street Yarrabilba at 10.30 am on Tuesday 9 January 2018. This is a pre-apprenticeship program commencing 15 January in Yarrabilba. This funded 10-12 week program involves a variety of construction projects underpinning technical training, employability skills and career education all integrated into a genuine workplace environment. Students who complete the program will undertake the following: - Certificate I Construction - 160 hours of structured workplace learning - Personal Development program - Green Skills Training Eligibility: - An Australian Citizen/permanent resident/QLD resident - Not enrolled in any study or school - Not completed a Certificate 1 Construction previously Desirable: - Have passed English and Maths equivalent to a Year 12 standard (open to discussion) - Have a drivers licence OR be able to get one within the first 6 weeks of the program (essential to gain apprenticeship) Contact Diana on 0423 311 833, facebook or email: [email protected] for more information before 22 December and after 2 January. http://gcsc.edu.au/
