25.01.2022 Hello, I had a 2 jobs today where the customers tried to sharpen their clipper blades on a sharpening stone but couldn't adjust the blades to cut properly. It is not my intent to criticise the clients. I just would like to explain that very few home sharpening stones are flat and tend to make the 2 parts of the blade convex. This prevents the tips of the blades making contact, and instead of cutting hair, they get stuck and pull the hair, causing discomfort to the subject getting groomed. The picture on the top shows the blades after 20 passes on the sharpening grinder . The other one with the blue marking shows where the part of the blade would have made contact. After over 120 passes for each part of the blade and lots of metal removed (shorter life for the blade) it all worked great.

25.01.2022 It has been few months since I last posted something on facebook. People ask me if I do gardening tools. These pictures show some of the things I have sharpened. Chain-saw chains are also among many other things.

10.01.2022 Hello everybody, I am now back to work !!!! Until the pandemic is over, I will be sanitising all items I am sharpening with Methylated spirits. I will also be wearing disposable gloves and masks. I also do sharpening from home and can organise a container for dropping and pick up. Mail delivery is also accepted. Thank for your support and see you soon.

10.01.2022 Good news,the results of my coronavirus are negative. I have to stay in isolation until the 2nd of April, It will be then a fortnight from my return to Australia. Meanwhile from today i have customers dropping blades in my mailbox to be sharpened. I sterilize the blades before handing them back. 09.01.2022 I am back from my holidays. I am waiting for the results of my Covid-19 tests. I am at the moment in isolation until I get further instructions from the health department and the government. I will keep you informed when I am able to start working again. Thank you for your support.

05.01.2022 I had the opportunity this week to sharpen some of the tools of a bookbinder working near my place in Austinville. It was great to see all the beautifull work he does and the skill needed to be good in that trade. One photo show a bookbinding plough it is used to trim the pages of the books to have them all at the same level when the book is shut. The other one is a blade that is used to thin down leather .
