21.01.2022 Been a little quite on the Facebook front lately life is a little bit crazy!!! Will have a catch-up on some of the past few weeks creations and messages later this evening but for now I cant believe it is already that time of year again, where I ask anyone that knows they are in need of a cake for July, August or September to let me know as just to add to our craziness I will be working full time again.

18.01.2022 Life has been a little different in the GC kitchen over the past 8 weeks with three little cupcakes to home school and a business to keep running. Thank you for you continued support and for trusting me with your smaller than expected creations. Enjoy a little catchup of what has been leaving the kitchen over the last couple of months and with restrictions easing and events beginning to happen again please get in touch early with any potential bookings as we are also at that time of the year where we head into Tax Time where I do limit my weekly bookings whilst I work full time for a few months.

17.01.2022 Hello Lovely People, With these crazy uncertain times we are finding ourselves in I would like to take the opportunity to let you all know that whist possible things are continuing as normal in the GC Kitchen (as long as I can get the ingredients to bake the cakes to turn into creations that is ). I would also like to assure you all that we have always and will continue abide by all the strict council and insurance regulations to ensure public safely and this may mean ceasing baking for a short time if required to do so. Please do not let this discourage you from enquiring about cakes for your upcoming special occasions next week, next month, next year even, as dates can always be changed if need be. In the meantime if you have an upcoming order or enquiry pending I will be in contact shortly to arrange the finer details. X

15.01.2022 So Father’s Day is shaping up to be very similar to Mother’s Day here in Vic and as such here is the plan. Cupcake/Cookie boxes for that special man/person in your life. $45 with local delivery. Here is a pic of what I am thinking with a star shaped cookie with a bit of silver leaf bling too. Boxed like Mother’s Day with ‘Dad, Daddy, Pop etc’ tag. Inbox if you would like some more info.

14.01.2022 My lack of posts over the last month may have lead you to believe that I have been on a tropical holiday! Far from it.....have a great week and remember to get in early if you have an upcoming event.

13.01.2022 Evening everyone, I will be offering a Mothers Day special this again this year but thought I would put it out to you to help come up with what we create. I am thinking either a boxed and bowed 6 pack of cupcakes decorated with small cookies, macarons and buttercream, a mini cake or a heart or M shaped cookie decorated with macarons, fresh flowers, meringues etc. Pricing would be $30-45. Inbox me or comment below and I will go with the majority and put together a sample over the weekend. The plan is to offer local delivery but more details will follow. I hope everyone is staying sane with isolation and home schooling. X

We are still plugging away in the background waiting for the time to come where we can start creating some masterpieces for all your special occasions. 09.01.2022 So we are still business as normalish (yes we are making up words now). Whilst everyones worlds are turning upside down and inside out daily for as long as I am allowed to, my family are well and your small events are allowed to happen I will keep baking completely understanding that your plans, like ours are changing everyday. Please continue to enquire about dates and cakes for your events as we an pencil them in and make changes as we go. Most of all look after yourself and your loved ones. Here are some recents cakes to curb your boredom for a couple of minutes.

07.01.2022 The pace is a little slower than normal in the GC kitchen at the moment and will be for the next few weeks with me sporting a fractured foot and a fancy black moon boot, in my line of work my worst nightmare is a broken hand/arm so the foot doesnt seem so bad! I appreciate everyones patience waiting for replies over the school holiday period but the kids are back at school and I have the next two days set aside for a catch-up on all paperwork, starting tonight with an uploa...d of the cakes that have already been created this year. For now enjoy the cake pics and if you are waiting on a message and havent received a reply by Tuesday evening please give me a call or message. Also I am fully booked for the remainder of February and have only limited availability for March so shoot me a message if you have an event coming up and I can pencil your name in the diary. 04.01.2022 Wishing everyone a wonderful quiet Easter weekend. We are having a very quite one this year and like everyone we are missing spending time with our family and friends. The three little people in our house have a bit of cabin fever setting in but if staying home keeps us all a little safer we wont complain, too much anyway!! Gracie and I made these little Toblerone Cheesecake/Mousse filled Easter eggs yesterday, they were delicious and super easy to put together, give the...m a try, inbox me if you would like the Toblerone mousse recipe. PS. How lucky are we to have our very own Protea tree in the backyard fresh blooms for months.

Here is a peek of what I have come up with for the cupcake boxes let me know what you think, the Mum on the box can be personalised to suit your special lady. Each box will have three cookie cupcakes and three macaroon cupcakes. I will be offering both the cupcakes pictured and the M or Heart shaped cookies I have done I done in previous years. 02.01.2022 SOLD OUT!!! Due to an overwhelming response to Mothers Day cupcake boxes I have had to close orders. I am truly thankful to everyone for supporting this small business in these very uncertain times. Home school in this house next week will now have a couple of extra business 101 lessons thrown in!!!
