25.01.2022 It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our valued patients and friends a very Merry Christmas ... Please note Dr Robert is beginning to book out quite far in advance for appointments leading into the busy Christmas and New Year period. If you have a health fund and are wanting a clean and check up before the 31st December we would advise to call the surgery today so you don’t miss out Our business hours will vary over the festive season. We are closed on all public holidays as well as Friday 28th December, Friday 4th January and Friday 11th January. We are open shorter hours for emergencies on Monday 24th December, Thursday 27th December and Monday 31st December. 22.01.2022 Hi Everyone , Thanks to all our Patients for your support and patience during this Covid-19 epidemic. We are still working reduced hours for the time being. We are open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 1.pm/2pm depending on appointments. ... We are at level 2 restrictions now ( previously at level 3 ). We can do some urgent fillings, emergency work etc. As for cleans we can only handscale. We are not yet allowed to use the ultrasonic for cleaning. Although you can have fluoride treatments. Our infection control procedures are extremely strict and we are adhering to strict guidelines. We are still asking Patients to wait in their cars on arrival and we have hand steriliser and a mouthwash procedure. As soon as restrictions are lifted regarding cleans we will let you know. If you have an emergency and cant contact us their is a mobile number you can reach us on. Just text with name and number and we will ring you back. Thank you everyone for your support *** update 26/03/20 To all our lovely Patients, We are very sorry but we will not be doing cleans during this time. Check ups yes. But cleans generate air-borne saliva droplets via aerosol and this would be unsafe for Patients, the Dentist and assistant. We are still open for emergencies and other treatments for the meantime until further notice. Again we would appreciate that you wait in your car and we will come to get you and that only the Patient comes into the Practice ( unless the patient is a child ). Please do not come in to book if at all avoidable. For Patients with bookings please arrive on time and for those arriving by car please wait in car and we will come and get you. Please note that for the moment its business as usual. As we only have our one Principal Dentist here we try to space out bookings so that the reception room has just the next Patient waiting. We always clean and wipe down the surgery between treatments adhering to strict dental guidelines and we also clean with antiviral disinfectant all surfaces, seats and door handles after every Patient in our reception area, waiting room and toilet facilities. We have hand sanitiser for Patients to use before and after treatment. If you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with somebody else who has shown symptoms of Coronavirus - sore throat, respiratory problems, fever and / or cough please do not attend your appointment or come in to make an appointment. Please let us know by telephone or email. If you have been overseas or have been in contact with someone else who has in the last 30 days please delay your appointment for at least 3 weeks. Thank you for your understanding. We are trying to keep people to a bare minimum in our reception area and would appreciate that only the Patient attends our Clinic during their appointment. Please allow plenty of extra time for the possible traffic delays so as to be on time for your Appointment. Time is precious as we all know during these games, and we aim to see people on time so they can get on and plan their days too during this hectic period. ... 13.01.2022 To our lovely Patients, Just to update what is happening with the surgery hours at this time. Due to Covid-19 and still being at Level 1 restrictions in Dentistry unfortunately we are unable to fit as many Patients into our day. We are still having extra cleaning of all rooms between Patients and cannot have more than two people in reception at any time. We are still having long delays in receiving PPE equipment and need to make sure we have enough to keep running the Clinic.... For now we are still closed on Fridays and have reduced hours Monday to Thursday, although these are increasing as time goes on. Hopefully soon we can be at no restrictions and go back to normal hours. For the time being however we are open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 2.30/3pm.
