If you have aesthetic vision, your environmentally conscious and you deliver quality workmanship, then we ask that you apply for this sort after position.... About the Position The candidate will work on various high-end projects for prominent developers, schools, child cares, and landscape architects. They will be required to effectively organise themselves and work around other trades, communicate & liaise with builder representatives and be comfortable in discussing project deliverables with all stakeholders. To ensure GDL Nature Play Spaces maintains a reputation of landscape construction excellence, our newly welcomed tradesperson will possess the required skills to create exceptional outdoor spaces. Duties & Responsibilities Core responsibilities and trade tasks will include the following: Project set out and establishment Construct retaining walls, stone/ brick/ block and timber structures or features Pour concrete slabs and lay pavers Plant identification and soil profiles Sound knowledge of timber construction Operate various plant and equipment Maintain and develop a high standard and knowledge of hard and soft landscaping Interpreting plans, drawings, scales, scope and specifications think outside the box Be pro-active to eliminate or reduce hazardous work conditions Ensure the correct use of and maintenance of PPE Comply with all OHSE procedures The successful applicant will need to possess the following: Driver’s license Construction Industry White Card CERT III Landscape Construction knowledgeowledge An outstanding eye for detail An excellent work ethic and proactive mindset An ability to deliver on instruction Police check Blue Card working with children.
