24.01.2022 $770.00 VZ STAINLESS STEEL CAT BACK EXHAUST SYSTEM SUPPLIED AND FITTED!! our end of financial year cat back exhaust special is going off!! The count down is on, ends June 30. This VZ thunder came in with a custom mild steel system that had rusted out and it needed to go. This new system sounds better, looks better and performs much better!! VIDEO IN COMMENTS

21.01.2022 THE BIG BOYS TOY, 2018 FORD F-150 RAPTOR!!!! One of our great customers purchased this awesome piece of machinery and entrusted the gearhead's to service, maintain and repair the big girl. First time having my hands on one of the most recent raptors that ford USA has to offer and it did not disappoint!! The most surprising feature was the twin turbo 3.5L V6, for the size of this pick up it gets up and moves!! The ingenuity and tech in this pick up is beyond impressive and we look forward to working with this machine in the future.

11.01.2022 E1 HSV MALOO HEADS AND CAM!!! This LS2 powered Maloo came to us already cammed but with the ultimate goal of going supercharged the NA cam had to go. Being a LS2 with cathedral port heads the superchargers to pick from are limited. We changed the camshaft out for a cranky supercharger grind 234/249 .610" .610" 118LSA and fitted a set of L98 rectangle ported heads and intake manifold. This camshaft has a very tough idle, awesome power delivery and manners for it size. ... Up next is a Magnuson 2300 heartbeat supercharger!! Stay tuned for this one, we should see some impressive numbers from this combo later in the year.

09.01.2022 2018 Z06 CORVETTE FROM FACTORY THESE PACK A PUNCH!!! Another amazing machine we are entrusted to work on. Under this slick exterior hides a 6.2L LT4 V8 direct injection, variable cam timing with the crown jewel on top of a 2300 supercharger pumping out 650HP!!! Put a drive in one of these on your bucket list, it's one hell of an experience!!

05.01.2022 DOSEN'T GET MUCH CLEANER THEN THIS!! This 1999 WH Grange is stuck in a time warp, it's as if it rolled out of the dealership yesterday!! Like the rest of this Grange, the engine got the full treatment when it came to fitting the cam kit. We removed the engine and gearbox, hand cleaned everthing. Slid in a 229/235 .584" .584" 112 with all the supporting engine mods. Reassembled with all genuine seals, gaskets and bolts. ... But it didn't stop there, we also fitted a full X-Force stainless exhaust system, high stall converter, LS2 manifold, Fast 102mm throttle, injectors, upgraded intank fuel pump and the list goes on. This tough street will be back!! after the next stage of this build we will have it on the pro hub dyno to see what number it can put down stay tuned!!

04.01.2022 HADLEY'S ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!! Today marks the one year anniversary of our announcement that we have a new family member and our first Gearhead K9. It has been a epic year with this fat head in our lives, from early mornings, school drops off's, long work days, working weekends, standing guard at the work shop door well into the night keeping us safe and her natural ability to make anyone smile on their darkest days. Hadley is by far our most popular team member at Gearhead street cars, if you haven't met Hadley yet come to the workshop she is the first face you'll see!!

03.01.2022 BEHIND THE SCENES We took a time laps of the extra lengths we go to when installing our cam kits, with a high volume oil pump. These upgrades can be done in the vehicle but we prefer to remove the engine and have 360 access and remove the risk of working around painted panels of the vehicle. I did intend on having a the reinstall and first fire up included in this video, I managed to over look the battery running flat half way through. ... I will get more and better videos of our up coming work in the future to post up.

02.01.2022 [[[[ WE HAVE MOVED!!! ]]]] We hope everyone enjoyed the down time over the end of year break and we are so excited to announce that we have used this time to step it up and expand! We have closed our Kunda Park site down and moved to Bells Creek (near the race course).... We do apologize if you have tried to contact us in the past fortnight, due to delays in trades and connections our number was disconnected due to "upgrading to NBN"... We are currently working on getting a new number but we will have a temporary diversion on our old number. We want to thank everyone who has supported us through this transition, trades working endlessly to create our fantastic showroom quality shop, giving up their holidays to assist. Kyle and Corey from Power Today Electrical Services truly went above and beyond, we could not have done it without you. We have been working on this for a little while and gotten behind on sharing a lot of awesome cars and builds that we got to do last year, we appreciate everyone's patience during our absence and will be making an effort to go through the vault and start sharing some of the awesome cars from 2020. Most of all a massive thank you to my partner in crime being with me every step of the way, pushing me as hard as what you do and putting up with my crazy ideas and stupid long hours!!
