22.01.2022 You can now find Gear Interactive at 220 Carr Place in Leederville! I'm lucky enough to get to share this space with a bunch of talented guys. Looking forward to the future of Gear Interactive...

15.01.2022 Last weekend, I took part in GovHack, an Australian wide competition involving open government data and coding. I worked with a bunch of talented designers and developers to create the final product, http://placeme.at Over the 48 hours, my job was to cut together a video describing what PlaceMe is, and how it would help you find the suburb best suited for you. Here is the result. I did a few minor edits since the competition ended on Sunday 2nd June.... Gear Interactive has some brand new video hardware and computers which allow us to create higher quality video products, with a more efficient turn around. Contact us if you are thinking of some video content for your business and we'll be happy to help! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK-_33O8d0w

10.01.2022 More conceptual medical animations in the works

06.01.2022 Maxon have announced Cinema 4d R15, which brings a few features I'm excited about such as distributed network rendering for both animations and still frames, increased render algorithms including GI and AO, a new bevel tool (yay!) and some other additions/improvements to modelling tools, not to mention some deformer performance upgrades. Given we didn't upgrade from R13 to R14, the jump from R13 to R15 should give access to a range of new and exciting tools!

05.01.2022 Bit delayed on this - on the weekend 8th-10th March, Perth hosted Startup Weekend at Spacecubed. A weekend full of networking and developing new startups from the ground up. While I didn't participate, I did drop by for a few hours to have a stickybeak look at what was taking place, and it was awesome. Captured some brief footage of Team Squidee, and layered it up with their apparent 'theme song' for the weekend :D Edited and produced in a couple of hours, the video was comp...leted before the end of the day after arriving at Spacecubed in the evening. Find their Startup Weekend project at squidee.co (@SquideeApp on Twitter) - a must have service for those who deal with webdesign. Find them on twitter: Cyrus Eftos - @cyruseftos Thomas Leenders - @thomasleenders Corey Ginnivan - @coreyginnivan Myles Eftos - @madpilot Justin Jones - @stabbyoperator
