13.01.2022 Who will be going to the WORLD GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE CONGRESS 2018 in Bengaluru?

13.01.2022 Today the 3-6 Environmental Warriors took on their first task of creating a safe place for native bees in our school. Our visiting horticulturalist, Robbie Ren...u, helped us learn that bees are declining because of loss of habitat and food supplies. Our response was to build a Bee Hotel near our soon to be regenerated bush tucker garden. The first visitor to our Air Bee'n'Bee was a very important bee, Mr Bee-rown. EWs will receive their badges tomorrow at the assemblies tomorrow. K-2 is at 2pm and 3-6 is at 11.40. (SRC badges will also be presented for 2-6 at the assembly at 11.40). Their next task will be sharing with their classes what they learned today. Thanks to our organising teachers, Kirrily Matthews, Tristan Carruthers and Kelly Osland. What a wonderful initiative.
