09.01.2022 This morning we removed this miniature inverter that was causing nothing but headaches and installed a new 5kW hybrid inverter with 4.8kWh lithium battery. 04.01.2022 Two homes with 6.5kW of panels on each. One home which is North facing has 12 panels with Tigo DC optimizers and 12 standard panels. The other has 12 Tigo DC optimized panels and 12 standard panels facing SOUTH!!! Both at a 15 degree pitch. The guys want to test to see not only how the Tigo optimizers increase efficiency but also to see the output of a South facing system, particularly during Winter. A 4.8kWh Lithium battery (LiFePo4) will be installed at each property to...morrow with an emergency power supply to ensure that the power will never go out. I’ve noticed that a previous installation with east facing panels were still producing large amounts of power after 1500 when the sun was shining from the west, so this will be interesting! 01.01.2022 We’re back! After a long 11 weeks of lockdown doing training and soul searching, we were able to install a 50kW system for Lotus Energy Co-operative in Deer Park. From next week, all of the Gedlec team will be back on board running at 100% again. It’s going to be a busy end of the year now!
