02.01.2022 Hacks and hints It’s that fearful b word.... budget. Unfortunately budgets come with a lot of bad stigma, people see it as a limitation to their life. ... When really it gives you so much freedom. Now I don’t know about you, but before I had a budget, I would get paid, transfer it all to my savings account and then basically just keep transferring little bits out and had no idea how much I was actually saving or spending. Here are my main hacks and hints to tighten up and better your budget. categorise - do you four walls such as utilities, rent, transportation and food. After that start with your wants and needs. debt - tackle your debt head on. If you can smash out your credit cards and car debt. This should be a priority. goals - have some savings or debt goals. I want to have x amount saved by the end of the year or I want to have x amount paid off by the end of the year. be patient - it will take a little while to get the hang of a budget but once you get the ball rolling it’s easy peasy. track and trim - figure out where all your money is going. I mean track every single penny and then embrace cutting costs. You will be gobsmacked on how much sh*t you spend your hard earned cash on.
