22.01.2022 Des Camm Jazz Band performed at the Geelong Jazz Club last Sunday afternoon and what a performance it was. The band really had the place jumping and nobody wanted the afternoon to end. Just fantastic Des and thanks to you and the band.

19.01.2022 What a fabulous night we had last Saturday with Georgia Brooks Swingtet really swinging. The dance floor was full all evening even Georgia and Sean joined us for a dance. Everyone commented how much they were enjoying the night. Look forward to having them again

Their repertoire stems from the roots of traditional jazz, although they play all the classics including mainstream jazz. 08.01.2022 Cancellations ... An Important Announcement Due to the COVID-19 virus, the Committee of the Geelong Jazz Club has decided to suspend all functions and Committee meetings for the present time. Please note this includes the Jazz at the Green function at the Queenscliff Bowls Club. It is our intention to follow the guidelines as laid down by the COGG. Their decision will be the deciding factor as to when we recommence our activities. News will be posted here, our website and sent out in our newsletter as soon as we have more information. 08.01.2022 What a truly fabulous evening with Anita Harris and Pippa Wilson, Two Swingin' Pitches, at Geelong Jazz Club Saturday night. A large crowd enjoyed the marvellous harmonies of the two icons of jazz and their talented backing group, which included Anita's dad on keyboard. Feet were tapping and folk dancing all night. Thank you ladies and band, we hope to see you again at our club.

08.01.2022 Our Gala Night is coming up on September 7th. Ruby Page and Joe Ruberto Jazztet are the group playing on the night. 8pm to 11.30pm BYO drinks glasses and nibbles. Ruby and Joe create a special type of magic which is mesmerising. Rubys voice is pure velvet. It will be a wonderful evening for those who like to dance and listen to beautiful harmonies. 06.01.2022 What a fantastic night at the jazz Saturday with the beautiful lady of song, Ruby Page accompanied by Joe Ruberto and the Jazztet. We we treated to something special on the night as Ruby brought along her talented sister Nane to sing some duets with her. A wonderful time was had by all who attended. Thank you Ruby and band.

03.01.2022 Saturday night saw the return of The Geelong Jazz Club and who better to commence the new normal that the red hot Hot B Hines. What a fantastic night it was. The music was marvellous and we all were so happy to hear 'live' Trad Jazz. A big thank you to Ken, Barry, Herb, John, David and Wally. 02.01.2022 Saturday night just past saw The Geelong Jazz Club enjoying a great night of jazz presented by the very talented band Paul Ingles Lightning Jazz band. Everyone present commented on how terrific they were and how entertaining, with bouncy upbeat jazz, the dance floor nearly full all night. A fantastic entertaining night, with our thanks to Paul Ingles on trombone and vocals, Ken Collins playing trumpet and vocals, Peter Hooper on Banjo, that talented youngster on reeds Brennan Hamilton Smith, Dan Gordon on double bass and providing the driving beat on drums was Ron Haydon. Thanks boys, a fabulous night.

The room was full with members and guests enjoying the night. We had some foundation committee members there with special guest Mary Bould the first president and a driving force in the Geelong Jazz Club. May the club go from strength to strength.
