20.01.2022 The Old Skool Hotrod & Custom Club hosts the Grampians Rod Run on the 3rd weekend in February every year. Unfortunately - due to COVID-19 we have decided that w...e have no choice but to cancel our 2021 Rod Run. We understand that everyone was looking forward to this, but due to lead times and ordering of supplies, t-shirts & booking of venues, we just could not take the risk. We hope to be back better than ever in 2022 with our 14th run. Save the date... 18th, 19th & 20th February 2022! See more

18.01.2022 Sad news for motoring fans... After careful consideration, organisers of the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival have made the difficult decision to cancel the 20...20 event, due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation. In their statement they said: It is clear that the ongoing COVID-19 crisis prevents large scale events like ours from occurring. We are extremely disappointed to be making this announcement but unfortunately there are far greater issues facing our community at this time. We look forward to presenting the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival in 2021. We are sure that the community will be ready to get out and enjoy the event and Geelong’s spectacular waterfront when conditions permit. Bring on 2021! #EventsGeelong

12.01.2022 Port Fairy Road Run 2021 has been cancelled. Due to current restrictions with COVID 19 and the likelihood of not being able to have a large gathering for any ma...jor events the Southwest Street Rodders have decided to cancel the 2021 Port fairy rod run, we didn’t see it viable enough to have all the hot Rodders together and having possible limitations of what we can and can’t do we thought the weekend wouldn’t be as enjoyable as what it would be without restrictions. We hope you can all understand this and we will see you in 2022. Please contact your accommodation facilities you may be staying at for next year to change it to 2022 7th 8th 9th of January .

01.01.2022 As many of you are aware of the current issues facing our world today, we are all doing our best, fighting this pandemic along with doing what is necessary to s...tay safe and keeping our communities safe. Tonight I spoke to our president of our club Bill Wadson, on matters regarding our annual show and shine swap meet for 2020 as we have to confirm that this event will be cancelled, the first time in 15 years. This event showcases our town of Bacchus Marsh along with displaying a vast array of vehicles from across the state including a swap meet that has grown in popularity over the years. We have been in discussions with our committee since early April, along with speaking with the council, we came to the conclusion early on, that to hold this event under stage 3 restrictions would be impossible and now that Melbourne Metropolitan and Mitchel Shire’ Is in stage 4 lock down along with Regional areas are still in stage 3, this includes bacchus Marsh. We would like to extend a big thank you to bacchus marsh council for their support and park management for there on going commitment and help in running the event, We hope and look forward to running the event next year, without any restrictions. we ask everyone to stay safe, wash your hands, ware a mask as we all need to do our part in beating this virus. The quicker we do that, the quicker we can all go cruising. Cheers Matt. S Club secretary See more
