22.01.2022 The Anakie Football & Netball Club have submitted Stage 2 (Social Rooms) Design & costings to the CIty of Greater Geelong for approval. AFNC’s proud history on ...this site spans more than 95 years since the football, cricket and tennis clubs cobbled together the princely sum of $90 to purchase the land from the Browne family. The majority of the original building was donated by volunteers and is now in need of upgrading in size and facilities. In 2018, Stage 1 of the development was completed and opened by Member for Lara John Eren MP to the celebration of all members providing us with modern football change rooms and a long awaited netball facility Whilst the existing social rooms have enabled our club to experience participation growth year on year, maintaining the facility which has had numerous construction additions added over its life has become expensive to address in line with current day standards. We encourage all to support (Like, Share or Tag) our proposal for the completion of upgrades to our facilities at Anakie Reserve. Many thanks to our Windermere Ward representatives Cr. 21.01.2022 ANAKIE NEEDS YOU Anakie FNC is seeking netball players for senior and junior grades to fill sides for season 2021. In nearly 20 years of competition in the GDF...NL we have never had a year where we haven’t fielded a full complement of teams. And we don’t plan on 2021 being that year.
