25.01.2022 The #geelongbibleconference is a Bible ministry for all ages. Indeed, God’s Word is for EVERYONE and we offer a ministry for our whole families to COME AND ENJOY! Our Senior Youth children (13-18), will be led by leading educator, and father of two, Jonathan Feldman, who will be touching on two key topics under the theme of ‘RUNNING THE RACE’ - 1 Why you are NEVER TOO YOUNG to think about the gospel, and...... 2 Why the Church NEEDS YOUNG THINKERS to proclaim the gospel Our UPPER PRIMARY and LOWER PRIMARY groups is about craft, movement, music, outdoor games, learning from the Bible and spending time making new FRIENDS! And of course there’ll be SNACKS, all provided, and plenty of quiet time, conversation and learning. Little ones (preschool & below) will get IMMERSED IN CREATIVE PLAY, led by experienced Carers, with either full WWC or VIT teacher registration. Toys, activities, snacks, port-a-cots, blankets, games, fun and, when required, ample HUGS & COMFORT is all provided! As a parent you can attend #2019GBC fully knowing that you AND your children will specifically looked after, spiritually, socially, emotionally and physically! 20.01.2022 And so with less than 48 hours until the opening of #2019GBC we’re looking forward to CONSCIOUSLY and CONCERTEDLY seeking the Lord! Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching. 19.01.2022 At the end of the day, it all seems to boil down to verses like this, where perspective is sharpened, and the whole point of life becomes clear. Jesus lives. He’s redeemed us. He’ll be back. Standing, on earth, literally. . It’s emotional. It’s real. It’s triumphant. And may it spur you this morning like it did me.

18.01.2022 But in what way shall we attain to this settled happiness of soul? How shall we learn to enjoy God? How shall we obtain such an all-sufficient soul-satisfying portion in him as shall enable us to let go the things of this world as vain and worthless in comparison?... I answer, this happiness is to be obtained through the study of the Holy Scriptures. The very earliest portion of the day we can command should be devoted to the meditation in Scriptures. 12.01.2022 And we’re away!...the 2019 #geelongbibleconference launched last night with the registration of multitudes ‘homiletic-seeking’ Christians from around #Geelong, eager for nourishment of both body and soul. Dr Joel Beeke began his 5-Part keynote address series EXPOUNDING and EXPANDING the concept of UNION WITH CHRIST...and it was truly powerful, hard hitting, emotion evoking and challenging in its stimulus to catalyze the spiritual gardening idea of cultivati...ng a Holy life. We loved the truths of #scripture, the #gospel, being lauded afresh. #OldTestament and #NewTestament symbiosis and connectivity were revitalized, with heart-warming eschatological glances to heaven where we will be like Him and gaze upon his face and LIVE forever. So we rev ourselves up, spurred by Round 1, and prepare ourselves for #2019GBC Round 2, where #Beeke will explore the privilege and process of Cultivating a Holy Home Life. 09.01.2022 What’s that? You want some Monday morning Charles Spurgeon?! You got it... We are in the habit of calling the Bible, the Word of God. I suppose that is accurate enough, but THE Word of God is not the Bibleit is Jesus Christ. His name shall be called, The Word of God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Well now, of this incarnate Word, this everlasting logos, we may say that He stands forever. Jesus Christ, the same yeste...rday, today and forever. And so, beloved, take heed, let each of us take heed that we keep to the enduring truth of God. Never let us be tempted by the flash of novelty, or by the attractions of supposed intelligence, to turn aside from the Word of God. 08.01.2022 The #2019GBC pop-up bookstore went down a storm, with a massive shoutout to Tom from @reformers.bookshop for making the drive down from Sydney to set up shop! It was a well choreographed range of #Beeke literature that enabled us to solidify and build upon the content expounded in the keynote addresses. It was so good to see the buzz of customers craving that theological literature to continue the learning and, as Beeke well challenged us, the ongoing MEDITATION at home. With the 2019 Conference almost at an end, we look forward to the #reformersbookshop rolling out another spread of prose at #2021GBC!
