25.01.2022 Well I dont know what everyone else is doing during this iso period, so Rod and I decided to dressup and go out to dinner to Maison Mackenzie (dont get too excited now it was our home). We had steak, roasted Dutch carrots in orange zest baked, green beans, cauli, chat potatoes with sour cream, and Rod had Tbone I had Scotch fillet, .....so what is everyone else doing.......i am afraid that Rod outdid me regarding the dress.

25.01.2022 Today we had a small VIEW gathering which enabled President Barbara and Secretary Mira and Allison, Monica and Pauline to welcome three prospective new members into our club.....Gail, Bette and Pauline Fallander who are very interested in VIEW and looking forward to meeting all the other members. Many thanks to Monica for sharing some naughty calories with us all.

24.01.2022 Have to say this author is brilliant. She is an Irish lawyer, now living in Melbourne, given up law to write crime novels. And with this iso creeping back into our lives maybe worth visiting the library before they close or limit customers

24.01.2022 Hi ladies, as you all know we need to fill our pamper packs for our needy friends who are in need of help. You can drop off any donations for the packs at Elizabeth Rogers home where there is a box at front of house, safe and secure. Pls refer to your contact list for her address.

12.01.2022 This is the front and back of a quilt I have made for my friend, and even quilted it myself using the walking foot, one way of diminishing the accumulation of scraps, needless to say she was happy.

05.01.2022 President Barb called the committee together for our monthly committee meeting. So here are our smiling faces... A great way for the committee to stay in touch and continue to work on fund raising ideas for the Smith Family. Well done Barb keeping us all in touch.

04.01.2022 Yvonne Edward been busy making lavender bags...at our morning tea quite a few dollars went into our coffers, the photo indicates what will be available at our next morning tea. So ladies, hopefully the weather will be fine and and purchases can be made from our trading table.

03.01.2022 Why dont you all share what you are reading with other members and perhaps be open for discussion on your book. We dont have a book group in our club but maybe a member would like to suggest a good read and thus get one under way. Your thoughts please. What about sharing recipes.....The Slice girls have been trying recipes for slices to sell....Please note I said Slice, not Spice girls. Am sorry for my warped sense of humour...apologies
