24.01.2022 Hello Eisteddfod friends & competitors, Due to a publishing error there is confusion about when the popular vocal item will run. It is booked for Saturday the 14th of July in the afternoon after intermediate vocal. Hope to see you all at the 2018 Geelong Eisteddfod.

21.01.2022 The 2019 Geelong Eisteddfod is now open for entries. Entries are accepted via the Stardom website or via paper entry. To arrange a paper entry please contact us privately & we will post this to you. 18.01.2022 We are having some difficulty in collating the video data from our Eisteddfod to send for processing into DVD video for those who were interested. It is a large job and created extra work for the committee. Because we are not 100% certain a video can be produced no money has been collected in case a product cannot be delivered. We will give you an update in 1 month time, or sooner if possible. We thank you for your patience.

17.01.2022 Hello Eisteddfod friends & competitors, The closing date for Stardom has been changed to midnight 25th May 2018. We had thought Stardom was going to give us one more week of entries with a Late Entry fee. It seems from two phonecalls we have received today that it is closed totally.... We are able to receive paper entries postmarked with Tuesday's postmark. If you do not have the official entry form you can write the details listed below and mail this to the address below with a cheque or money order. 13.01.2022 Stardom is now up and taking entries until the 7th of June. (finally!!!!)

11.01.2022 The Geelong Eisteddfod Society Inc. Committee apologises for the following errors in the recently published 2018 Program. 1. D002 12 and Under 14 Years Ballet Scholarship lists the wrong competitors. 2. P01 Under 10 Years Pianoforte Solo lists the wrong competitors. 3. Choral competition is on Thursday 23rd August not Tuesday 23rd as shown in the Program.... All competitors who have entered these Items will be contacted shortly and supplied with the correct information including a list of competitors in each Item and the order of performance. We will endeavour to reprint the incorrect pages.

09.01.2022 Hello Eisteddfod Friend’s & competitors, Please note: Item D007--Classical/Neo Classical/Contemporary solo under 6 was not printed in the paper booklet but this is offered on Stardom. If you have a paper entry form you can enter by including this on the printed entry forms. This will be the same price as the other under 6 solo items.... Hope to see you all at the 2019 Geelong Eisteddfod.

07.01.2022 Good evening, We have received one or two questions from entrants who received an invoice for an unpaid amount with their programme. This was only sent to people who made no payment or a payment that was short of the correct amount. A common scenario of short payment is people who entered on Stardom during the late entry period (May 18th to May 25th) and no late entry fee was applied as it should have been. Just to clarify we are happy for people to pay the outstanding amo...unt on the day they are to appear in our competition, as this is the most convenient way to sort this since after entries closed the only options to make payments are cash or cheque. However, payment must be received before a competitor can perform in any items in which they are due to appear. Please do not ask to appear and pay at the end as the answer will be 'no'.
