24.01.2022 I am so excited to have completed this piece today!! Why am I so excited?? Well, it's been with me for quite a few years, one of my first florals actually. I de...cided about 1 year ago it needed a facelift to bring it up to today's standards but it has been one of those pieces that I keep procrastinating over - nearly there but not quite.. Well this morning I woke up and decided I was going to finish it, so I did!! Yay! I've attached a pic of the original piece, completed in 2015 and I've decided to keep its original name ; Rise and Shine 92cm x 92cm $1100 (including shipping) Acrylic on canvas

10.01.2022 Ok guys, I have a wine in hand and am watching Ru Paul AND have a whole studio day planned for tomorrow, so.... I have enough vulnerability cushions to finally ...show you guys my most recent self portrait. ~ I think a lot of us have been feeling our anxiety more than normal this year, it has been a daily roller coaster for me and I couldnt focus on anything else for this self portrait. It felt therapeutic to put imagery to how I feel my anxiety, like giving it a face made it manageable. 08.01.2022 It's beautiful day for a picnic! @mandydollery and I are about to coat our COMPLETED mural with anti graffiti coating, so if you're around the area come on dow...n and say hi! We've been working hard on this mural for a while now, and pretty pleased with how well our styles go together. The brief from @thevillagestorenewtown was to have a bright, colourful painted mural, a mix of traditional and modern, with hints of local Geelong. The owner commissioned us to cover the hoarding outside his lovely store, not only to prevent tagging of the bare white panels, but to create a better visual for the neighbouring properties. We think we've managed to achieve this successfully, also creating a couple of interactive spots for instagramming, and a great talking point for locals. The kids have especially been loving it, chatting away as they find different things within the painting. Come and have a look and tell us what you think. Oh, and don't forget to pop in to @thevillagestorenewtown for some yummy groceries, products and a bottle of wine or 10! The staff are really lovely and super helpful. More pics coming soon!
