20.01.2022 Funeral announcement The funeral service for Don McLeod will be held this Friday 28th August at 1.30pm at Tuckers, Grovedale.... 18.01.2022 Camping Weekend May 2021 We have arranged our next Camping weekend at Blackwood. A few of us visited the site the other week and it is a basic park with clean amenities. Details are Dates: Weekend of 15-16th May 2021 though most will arrive on the Friday 14th May... Location: Blackwood Mineral Springs Caravan Park Phone: (03) 5368 6539 Web: https://blackwoodcaravanpark.com.au/accommodation The site has two areas, the top area has a large fire pit that we’ll use but if it’s raining, we’ll move into the camp kitchen that has a large fireplace. If you have some firewood, please bring it along. Usual rules apply: 1. You book & pay for yourself. 2. No dancing. 3. What happens on Camp, stays on Camp! It is best if you book online as they are not in the office regularly. When booking, put that you want to be with the Geelong Jukebox Rockers in the special comments section. There are two areas in the park most of us will be in the top area but note that this is a bit of a walk to the facilities if it’s a cold rainy night. Also note that currently there is no dump point on site. Unfortunately there is not much onsite accommodation available & what they have is already booked but there are other accommodation options within the area. They have advised that Air B&B has a number of sites in the area. https://www.airbnb.com.au/blackwood-australia/stays and also check out the nearby town of Barry’s Reef Lastly, they have also advised that they expect to be booked out on the weekend so book early to ensure you get a spot. 10.01.2022 It is with sadness that I must again report on the passing of another of our members. Jan Pruis passed away today from a very recent heart attack. On behalf of the committee and all the members of the Geelong Jukebox Rockers I would like to extend our condolences and sympathy to Suzie Tsen (Jan’s Partner) and Jan’s family

10.01.2022 Our April Dance at Geelong Town Hall was a great night with the Uptown Catz rocking the night away. Numbers were down a bit being a long weekend but those that came made up with enthusiasm and the floor was busy all night. Once again the Hot Chocolate was a big hit!

09.01.2022 Our April dance Report Our Easter dance was well attended with around 97 booked in, which is pretty good considering how many people take this last opportunity to go away! The Uptown Cats kept the music coming all night with a great mix of danceable songs that kept the floor full all night. It was great to see so many familiar faces, and a few new ones. The Geelong West Town Hall is a great venue, with lots of positive feedback from the members. Don’t forget our next dance i...s on the 1st of May at Club Italia, due to a previous booking at Geelong West. Janet
