23.01.2022 8 DECEMBER AVALON COME & TRY DAY The Avalon Come & Try day is scheduled for Sunday 8 December. This is a non-competitive event and a great opportunity to introduce family members and friends over the age of 12 years to motorsport. Further information is available in the supplementary regulations posted on the gmsc.com.au website. Bring along your completed entry forms to register at the commencement of the event.

22.01.2022 15 March Avalon Khanacross Results The results for Sunday's Avalon Khanacross event are now available to view and download on the gmsc.com.au website. Thank you for a good day of competition.



20.01.2022 18 October Avalon Autocross On-line entries on the Motorsport Australia website are now open to Barwon South West Region entrants only - see map at https://www.rdv.vic.gov.au/victorias-regions#region-listing. The maximum number of competitors for this event will be 30. Priority will be given to Barwon South West Region, GMSC & WDCC members until 2 October. Entries will close at 6pm on 9 October. The Supplementary Regulations and Event Notes can be viewed at the gmsc.com.au website. Please read these carefully. On-line entries will only be accepted. Drivers briefing notes and vehicle numbers will be emailed to competitors prior to the event. Self-scrutiny forms will also need to be completed prior to the event.

19.01.2022 15 March Avalon Khanacross We are still planning, weather permitting, to proceed with Sunday’s Avalon khanacross event. A track inspection will be conducted Saturday afternoon, so we’ll confirm we are proceeding via email and on this Facebook page.

USE OF CLUB PERMIT VEHICLES The only reasons Victorians should be leaving their home are for: obtaining food and supplies, medical care and care giving, exercise, and work or education.... While you can continue to use your club permit vehicle, its use must only be in connection with one of the above activities (as well as being in accordance with the usual rules for use of club permit vehicles). Victoria Police have powers to enforce social distancing laws and can issue fines of up to $1,652 for individuals who don’t comply. 14.01.2022 As yet the 17 November Avalon VCAS results are not available due to a delay in getting them calculated. Apology for the delay. Will endeavour to publish the results shortly.

14.01.2022 8 DECEMBER AVALON COME & TRY DAY A reminder that we will be holding our Avalon Come & Try Day as planned. Vehicle scrutiny and registration will commence at 9am as indicated in the supp regs. For those who do not have a CAMS licence, single event licences will be available at a cost of $25. If you are planning to be a passenger, whether you have a CAMS licence or not, you will need to complete a passenger ride entry form. A copy is available on the gmsc.com.au website in the Come & Try Day post. Passengers will require to wear the proper clothing and helmet as described in the supp regs.

If you believe there is an error in your class allocation please inform Martin Prins or Nicholas Charrett.

07.01.2022 15 March Avalon Khanacross The track appears to be in good condition so we plan to proceed with tomorrow’s Avalon khanacross event. As with any event currently, if you are feeling unwell, have a fever or have a cough you should not attend.

03.01.2022 17 NOVEMBER AVALON VCAS ROUND 11 The track is looking good and it looks like it will stay that way until Sunday. Scrutneering will commence at 8am for a 9:45am start. Unfortunately we are not able to provide catering so it's BYO food and drink.

01.01.2022 August Avalon Autocross Cancelled It is with regret that we will NOT be holding our proposed 16 August autocross event. We will keep monitoring the situation to determine whether we will be running any further events this year. A further update will be posted during August.
