25.01.2022 AGM 2020 UPDATE Last night, the Geelong Rangers AGM 2020 took place at the clubrooms and via Zoom for those that wanted to participate online. Kylie Chapman presented her Presidents Report with Tim giving an overview of the financials for the year end September 2020. Copies of these will be available to members on request.... The 2020 committee stood down from their positions and a re-election for 2021 took place, seeing a number of changes and vacancies arise. Kylie has decided to step down after 4 years as President of Geelong Rangers Soccer Club and take some time to spend with family. She will still remain an integral member of the club, acting as Vice President for 2021 and as a mentor and support for incoming President, Lisa Brooks. Lisa relinquishes her role as Club Secretary and will be replaced by Michelle Ball. Michelle has been a coordinator of our Miniroos girls program for the last couple of years and is looking forward to joining the committee and supporting the club administration processes. Liam McCloskey stands down from the committee and his role as Head of Football to concentrate and spend time with family and on his business but as a highly valued, Life Member and longstanding supporter of the club we look forward to welcoming him back in some capacity soon at the club. Liam is never far away for advice and support. Mike Chapman relinquishes his role as Apparel Coordinator and committee position to concentrate on his coaching roles with the Senior Women and Junior Girls program. Mike has worked tirelessly over a number of years to equip our players, coaches and committee with the great kit and clothing we all proudly wear. The club would like to thank all the players, volunteers, sponsors and committee members for what has been a very difficult 2020 and their continued support and commitment to the club. We would especially like to take this time to publicly thank Kylie, Liam and Mike. The club is fortunate to have you all as such loyal advocates over a number of years and you have had a significant input to sculpture Geelong Rangers into the club we are today. 20.01.2022 NOTICE OF AGM The Annual General Meeting of GRSC will be held on Thursday 10 December at 6.30pm The AGM will this year be held via Zoom. Invites will be sent to members closer to the date.... Nominations for all key committee positions will be accepted and voted on during the meeting. We are looking for some new, enthusiastic, club focussed volunteers to join us this year to drive our strategic plan and carry the club forward into the future.
